sim level question

ok i am new to the game, but i have to ask this question ...

at lvl 11 my sim's i call up are still only lvl 7 .. does the level for them only go up when you upgrade to a new skill? ...

Have you gotten the other skills in that tree, like Logic deamon etc?
I am doing a test on this also on the test server, but my char is not
up to level 11 yet. I could make this stuff for my level 50 on the test
server, but have not done that.

yes i have all the skills for up to there and even higher ... and just have what i can loaded ...

this is on live server.... tho i did also copy that char to the test server and same thing ...

i would have thought it would level up with the char ... but apparently it is locked to the skill you use to call them with ... even tho the skill is at it's max level ...
