I played when MxO for a few months when it first came out and something drove me back to it. Running around for an hour or so I've noticed no one is around.....Is it because everyone who plays are just in different areas?

Just depends on the time. Give it about an hour or so. U see the population soon enough. Mara Central is the usual hang out spot.

Which Server? What Timezone are you? When do you play? All these factors contribute. My faction is majority GMT so we sometimes struggle for action as alot of the players are PCT or somewhere in that area I find.

I'd guess Vector since he posted in the Vector forums  .
Yeah, Vector is not a really populated server tbh. The best way to see people is join a faction.

Have you chosen an org affliations yet?
the Orgs tend to pop in and out by their 'bookstore' Hardlines: Mervs = Appolyn(sp) NW.
Mechs = Midian East.
Cavers....er...Zion = Moriah East.
Of course there is alway Mara C. Also Tabor West for Mission running ppl.
And yes the 'time' your jacked in tends to have a say in the population. Vector is a good mix of American/EU players with a few from the othere side of the world even (japan/china and all).
Don't get discuraged(sp) As you lvl up '/who' is your friend. Give it more than 'an hour or so' and we'll find you(especially once you hit lvl 16+).
