Waking from a dream that you don't want wake from is a very bad sign of how you view your life. Waking from a dream to realize that you once were the ruler of the Dream World....well, that's something else. My name is Phoenix, and I remember. I remember when the floodgates of the Matrix were completely in my power. I remember being One with the Matrix. No one could stop me....well....there WAS One person.

I guess my mind was first Awoken when I turned a corner into a waiting batch of Redpills. Mistaking my tatoos for gang-related activity, they quickly made mincemeat of me. I barely made it into a nearby church...when the injuries triggered a Memory. I remember standing amongst a group of people...that were ME. We...I was watching a man fight another Me. We all knew that we would win....but....then we didn't.

It was so sudden that my brain couldn't take it. I was suddenly seeing double--one vision of Nuns looking over my wounds, another of a bright pink bubble filled with goop.


I ran out into the rain, my bare feet slapping the wet, cold sidewalk. I could barely see anything, and what I could see was horrifying me...yet pleasing me. I knew the truth, and I knew that I had an opportunity to set things right.


I knew that Redpills often visited phone booths, so I traveled to one. My double vision was proving to be a pain...I'm sure that was what blinded me. I slumped against the booth....and waited. It did not take long.


Looking back on my actions that day, I remember being confused and in pain from the Redpill ambush. My tatoos are still stained somewhat with my blood. But I relax when I think ahead to their death. Soon our...MY power will be reborn. Rising from the ashes of Death, I will prove that when everyone shares the same mind, all is perfect.

After all, it is inevitable.
