I found that when you're still missioning your way to level 50 the best clothes to wear are ones with Melee, Ballistic and Viral Resistance. Max them out as much as you can cause in nearly all missions you're constantly getting ganked and you'll need to survive the barrage of attacks (Very Few, if any, mobs in missions use thrown attacks).

The % influences from clothes make very little different at lower levels cause the base values are lower, so I generally didn't bother UNLESS that piece of clothing also had melee, ballistic and viral resistance on it.

Eg.
At lvl 25 your acc in kungu Fu Style is 45 (Pulled that number out of my *CENSORED*, don't quote me on it)

a 2% acc shirt makes no difference as 45 x 0.02 = 0.9 which is round down to 0.

At lvl 50 you get 75 points of acc in Kung Fu style

a 2% acc shirt give 75 x 0.02 = 1.5 which is rounded down to 1 extra point of acc.

mmh k... i thought so the other day i got gang raped by those imposter agents when mishing archives just wanted to make sure i was doing a right decision when i bought my new clothes, tho as you say they rarely use throw so i haven't really got the idea of getting throw resistance clothes if not for pvping with an akido gm

I usually just build up my Ballistic and Viral defences and resistance, because Martial Artists can only punch you when your in IL with them and you'll be more worried about the hoards of hackers and gunners shooting you.

Also when I enter a mission area, I hit the gunners first as they have no shields and better damage out of IL, then I take out any hackers as they have good out of IL damage but you need to take their sheilds first then the MAs as they will spend the whole time shooting but down usually do as much damage and dont have as good accuracy... I can usually run into a normal mission with my MA alt and walk out the other end without needing a /sit break, but I have Direwolf (Increases health and health regen) and a few other helpful clothing.  (Sakura Mask, Widow's Moor Shades both give good IS and Health Regen)

With Imposter Agents, you best off going with Ballistic resis and defence, that way they will hit less and when they do hit it will hurt less, though I stand by my Viral/Ballistic protection set for missions.

Another tip for missioning no matter what your load is, it's a very good idea to have Hyper Dodge and Hyper Deflect running at all times (and, of course, fully levelled to whatever level you are).  You can also have Hyper Block loaded and activate it if you end up in IL with a particularly tough (3 Chevron) melee using opponent, but then you have to remember to switch back and forth between it and Hyper Dodge.  If you need the extra memory point though, dropping Hyper Block is almost always a good idea.
