I still say the cines should be periodically released in patchs and drawn straight from our HDs instead of having to d/l em each time.

I have said in the past that SOE should download the cinematics to your computer so they will be locally played back instead of vewing them in the browser, using your bandwith, theres and having to download them anyways. It would be alot faster for all users really

I cannot but aggree with CloudWolf and DevlisArms though, that it would be much more convenient if we could have them locally in our HD's via a patch or so, because many people (including me at first) could believe that something might be wrong with their copy of the game, or their PC, when attempts to play the cinematics in-game fail..

I motion that this thread be stickied. It is a great and invaluable way to get quickly caught up to speed on the cinimatics.

i suggest that a new option be made available on patch days in the launcher or through your mater account window specifiying if you would like to stream (for low speed users : 56k dial up and 512k isdn) or download (for high speed users : 1m,2m 10mb etc broadband)

of coures two versions of the patch would have to be made available, so there may be aditional content hosting issiues on the soe servers but apart from that i dont see any other problem with it SMILEY

I agree... The quality of the cinematics are just kinda... sad... when you remember them in their glory.
