Why is there riffraff about being a main character for 2 weeks? That's like complaining Christmas has the word Christ in it.

You people..

I'm hoping it starts the 16th instead of the 23rd, so we have 3 weeks instead of two. SMILEY

Last year, didn't they extend it because we wanted the event to last longer?

yeah they extended it because they found a bug they had to fix somewhere, and if they didn't extend it we would have only had it for a week or so.

Sick! Holloween's by far my favorite event. It's good to see a lot of effort put into it.

To be honest I think 2 weeks is long enough. I remember last year how most people got bored after a few day when most of the masks had been farmed, then more people started complaining about how dark it was. Halloween actually arrived and for a couple of days nobody seemed to mind what they'd been complaining about but then in the extra week people couldn't wait to get back to normal. (I couldn't wait for it to go back to normal by the end even though I had fun, only thing I really didn't like were the horrible graphics on the HL's SMILEY)

What I'd like to see happen is one or two bonfires appear in the middle of some of the parks around the 5th of November, Might be a good venue for a guy fawkes party...

Last year the patch came out on October 30th, and since October 30th this year is a Thursday and lands on the six week mark, it will most likely come out on that day.

I agree about the darkness thing. The concept of the event is really fun, and it's cool to see everybody in various costumes, but I hate the fact that you can't see anything that far.

Yeah the darkness DOES get on your nerves.. but the concept is really fun. I still think they should give it to us a week earlier, just for the heck of it SMILEY
