The Algorithm needs to be stopped. ResidentDC picked up a couple of the missing fragments the other night and from the sound of #13, The Algorithm and his people are planning to nuke the pods by removing the safeguards that regulate the fusion process.

Anyone know what the PM means? It seems to be all repeated lines until the last one.

Leet (written as 31337, 1337, and l33t), or Leetspeak. Some examples of Leet include: B1FF and n00b, a term for the stereotypical newbie; (wiki FTW)

Translation from the PM I got would be something like this:

NOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHINGNOTHING.....NOTHINGISREAL

I'm thinking this 'Nothing' charactor is real... someone we need to watch for.

(I wish I could be there Friday too... have to work) SMILEY

Oi like i said.. Algorithm = end of a sequence to no longer loop. That so said loop was the power to the pods.... what else.. hmm.. I know ppl were denying i was not right but look now..... and sad enough i had asked doctrine holders at devry first hand and seemed a few didnt want to take note on it... *sigh* see what happens when one does alot of searching and it gets thorwn away by when trying to show fact and meaning.. the faith ppl had in a program to think it can bring peace by killing al blues thus then ending both man and mech kind all ways.... Yeah i said my peace and i had enoguh of algy boy... LOCK AND LOAD IM TAKING NAMES

I read your reply about your research at the DeVry Institute.  But I don't remember anyone disagreeing with you...  I actually took it for what it was and moved on...

Hmmm...

Not saying in all honesty any disagreed with a thought on the outcome. But I did overall from so said few people
*cough*Jacks-Screwed-Up-Life*cough* trying to make it seem it really was all talk and nothing to show being he was in all honesty looked to have contacts with the Algorithm itself.

Yet I guess it goes to show some... Dont always turn ones back onto one belief of logic. Cause it very well may end up being such said logic in one way or another..

Lol, I think there was a line being crossed between the worlds of fiction and reality just now.

The reason why I and the rest of the 20-some players from all over the game were chosen was simple once we all gathered together- We desired peace. Like I had told many people(players) privately. When I first heard about this event- I did not care. But when I heard my name called on the list- I knew there was something I personally do- that made me be seen in the eyes of others.

The people chosen, are free thinkers that were more closer to peace, than you can imagine. Wars are built on the failures of communication and understanding- we did not have such failures. We- an open minded community, can believe in finding peace- and we did, under this banner- all three sects of Operatives, looked- listened- and understood what it was they had to sacrifice in order for the current populus to obtain peace.

For those that decided to fight against the Algorithm- that is your case and you stand by it. You cannot- will not justify the deaths on the left side vs the deaths on the right side. In the end, people who are not victims are still dead. The people who played their cards died. No one was innocent.

From here on i speak for myself- not for the Algorithm or its operatives.

As far as peace is concenred. I am a machine operative and I still have my peace with Zion/EPN before and after the Algorithm. It takes commitment and humliaty to obtain peace. Wars are built upon pride and unrelentless anger- Removing such traits from my character has allowed me to do what so many programs and players could not have done.

I approached Zion- it did not happen instantly, but over time through communication and understanding- is it possible. War only continues because people want it too- in this event there were 4 types of people. Followers of the Algorithm that wanted peace- Followers of the Algorithm that spied for their Org. People who wanted peace but without the Algorithm. And those that did not want peace at all.

Everyone has a side. The latter are probably a majority of the players because they are afraid of change- they cannot conceive of a world that is "tranquil"- a monumental failure that the Architect realized too late. I truly abandon all hope for those war mongers

Surely, Dante Allegheri had it right, the 5th Circle of Hell- a swamp where the wrathful continuously fight for no other reason than to fight. You'd find all the greatest "champions" there en masse pulling each other down into the River Styx. Truly, all of you were made for such a place.

The first message the Algorithm sent us was about responsibility. "A killer in me is a killer in you." We have all done our part planting the seeds of war into ourselves and our enemies. I first and foremost accept such responsibilities- from Heuristic to early Vector, I was a complete and utter apathetic killer.

But from this reality check- we have a "pause", where we as individuals can summarize our playing habits and have a choice to make change- Not absolution- but a betterment of the people around us.

OOC: And surely once you players decide to wake up from so much pvp, you will realize how much effort is going into pvp changes rather than expansion/extension to content itself (yes i know mxo doesnt have an animator) rest assured. More effort could be made to the world instead of creating "cool neat things" to justify using them in a war.

So like the Algorithm once said.

Is your function "War" or "Peace" ?

You decide.

We are all watching.
