Login Error - Load attempt in progress

I have been playing for over 7 months with little or no problems until today.

I have been having problems using my main charecter (AltDimension on Recusion) every time I log in and the load screen gets the the point of "Loading Charecter" This error message comes up:
Login Error
The charecter could not be loaded because there is already is a load attempt in progress.

So, I try and login again with the same charecter and the load bar gets to the point of "Connecting to Region server" and then the whole thing will freeze up and I have to close it using Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

So I decided to do a full system check and try and login but the same thing happens again, first time the error message will come up then when trying to load the charecter again it freezes.

I have also tried waiting for about an hour but it just happens again.

This does not happen with any of my other charecters (even the ones on the same server). And it has never happened before. I am using Windows XP SP 2

Strange, sounds like the character is stuck with something similar to the account in use error.

Best thing to do would probably submit a petition at http://support.station.sony.com/petition and explain the problem and see if there is something they can do to help out.
