If you're determined to do this alone then you might want to find out which Archive Mission it is that lends you several party members in the first phase.  You can take them down to Bathary and they'll help you kill the 53s.

You mean such as one of the missions, IIRC, that had level 255 Agents working for you? Or am I remembering wrong in regards to their level?

As nice as the multiple accounts on multiple PCs sounds, my current PC set up is not really geared towards making that easy. While I have two PCs, they share the same monitor but I could try giving it a go if I get desperate =) But I have plenty of time and don't mind the high level NPCs. At least they aren't level 55 commandos (which made mincemeat of me yesterday >_<

I farmed a Patcher's Dana on my own without the help of any low levels chars (Yes I'm in the same situation as you are).

I know it's not efficient, but it works.

Loadout: Improved Hacking + Insidious Code + HJ

Tactic:

• Spawn a Corruptor at a hardline (Jack in -> Back to Loading Aria -> Jack-in...)
• Wait until the 53's run after you
• HJ on the building near the hardline in safe distance of corruptor
• Make sure to have Improved Hacking running
• Hack them with Insidious + Nukes to death
• Wear IS-regen gear
• If you health gets low, go a few steps back and they  can't hit you anymore

Now that's interesting. I'll have to code up the hacker tree I guess. Meh. Gives me something else to do too. I'll try as many of these suggestions as I feasibly can =)

Okay, once again I'm showing how far out of the loop I am now. As I don't understand the "Improved Hacking" part of your load out. =/

Improved hacking gives points to healing and viral damage for 300 seconds / 5 minutes.

So it's basically like having Overclock on for 5 minutes; you do much more damage (and heal better) with it on. More damage with Artillerist / IH than you would with Howitzer/ no IH.

Okay, I've looked all through my ability tree, multiple times now, and I simply cannot find anything with the name Improved Hacking. So you're going to have really dumb things down for me today and tell me where it is. I've either turned into a complete noob, or this is my fever's fault. >_< Perhaps instead of trying to play MxO while sick, I should try to sleep >_>

its a lvl 47 ability under the team patcher tree force mulitiplier part.

The one i've seen used gives you about three standard lvl51 org npcs.

If your machine is strong enough, you can dual client - run two instances of the game at the same time.

Maybe running the game in window mode will help getting rid of your graphic glitches?

I can't force you to use multiple accounts but if you want to complete this without killing yourself at the end, I encourage you to use the multiple accounts method. It's 10 times easier and a 1000 times faster than killing the level 53's.

And a 1000 is an understatement. You need 2100 frags for the headgear. Not every NPC drops a frag, so you'll probably end up killing 3500 NPC's. You can either fight them like a true fighter would, or be lazy and instant-kill them.

It's a tedious grind, not challenging at all. Might as well get through as quick as you can.

• Make 4 trial accounts.
• Copy the launcher.exe from your MXO directory and paste it in that same directory. The name will be "copy of launcher.exe", I think.
• Add 2 shortcuts on your desktop to launcher.exe
• To 1 of those shortcuts add -clone at the end of the Target's path (right click > properties > See Target path)
• Add 2 shortcuts on your desktop to 'copy of launcher.exe'
• To 1 of those shortcuts add -clone at the end of the Target's path

You can now login with the 4 trial accounts by opening each shortcut. =)

There's also a thread in the Guides section (opened by Mindsweep, if I remember correctly) that has various parameters to add to the Target's path. I find the most handy ones to be: -user -pwd -char and -noeula
Try this as your Target's path: "C:\Program Files\Monolith Productions\The Matrix Online\launcher.exe" -user 'loginname' -pwd 'password' -noeula -char 'charactername' (-clone)
With this you can login to MXO with a simple double click on the icons. =)

Your main account is on the other pc of course. If you don't have a second pc, you can login with 3 trial accounts and your main one. I've never tried to give the launcher.exe different names but I assume you can keep copying it and adding shortcuts so you can open more clients, in to infinity, as long as the names are different. Never tried this though and I can't at the moment because I am at work.
If I made a mistake somewhere, please point it out and I'll correct it. I'm not sure about the parameters or how the English version of Windows translates words like Properties and Target, cause I use a Dutch version of Windows.

This is normal, you can fix it by hitting the Windowed checkbox in your Video Options menu (\) and then selecting 'No'. 

Or you could select 'Yes' and play in Windowed mode as that's the better option for multiclienting in any case. 

When making your shortcuts you don't need to copy in any particular order.  You can name them however you like so long as all the target paths (except for your primary account) contain '-clone'.  Start the primary account first and then the extras in any order after that.  Oh, and depending on lag you might want to lower your graphics some beforehand.
