Level 100 agents have only spawned for a few months, not three years.
So, compared with other bug fixes, this one has actually been solved rather quickly.

Level 255 agents, that only spawn in restricted districts will still spawn on Machine aligned players (answering Satta's question too). So that didn't change, and doesn't have to change because it makes sense. You work for/with the Machines, but as the owners of the system they will always hold the right to forbid you to go to certain places, regardless of your affiliation. I'm not allowed to go in my boss' office before knocking on the door either.Level 255 agents, let's call them Node Agents: These don't spawn any more or less now the truce is over.Level 100 agents, let's call them Anti-Truce Agents: These are the relevant agents that spawn because the truce is over. Thus it makes sense they stopped spawning on Machinists.
Same looks, different purpose. And the nodes give good XP too, so it'd be a more boring grind for a Machinist than a Merv or Zionite if Node Agents wouldn't spawn on Machinists.

Got it thanks. I didn't know that the level 100 Agents were attacking machinists. If a machinist was dumb enough to attack the level 100 then they deserve to get smacked around back.

I'm not really a Machinist, I just play one on the internet. Am I going to get shot?
(I'm not really a scientist either. Sin Inc wont let me forget. But let's take one thing at a time... I have my mad scientist laugh down-pat though)
