Death of the Destroyer: Who got a piece of the Assassin?

Manssen, Church of the Disciples, Recursion. The Assassin has been worn down, but has disappeared for the time being. Redpills run chaotically around the area, searching for the fiend.

I leapt to the top of a building nearby the church, and found myself facing the Assassin. I should've yelled for help, but I didn't. There were only two or three other people up there with me, as opposed to the hundreds running around down below. I attacked with the flit gun, knowing that I wouldn't last long. I'm only level 31, after all.

I managed to get in ten or so hits before I found myself reconstructing. I don't know if I died before or after the guys around me, and it really doesn't matter. I wrote my part of the story.

For some reason, my lag wasnt as bad, compared to many of the other MXO people, so I was able to pretty much stay on top of the assassin, I was hitting him ALOT with the flit gun.

I was pleased to do as well as I did being only lvl 21, but I got many hits.

I do not have pictures of my self hitting him but I do have pictures of him Unflagged....and of him looking at my body.

Alot of times I had been right infront of his face spraying him with bugspray while he was killing everything and everyone around me. I think i really started to annoy him because seconds later I got hit by lighting.

Afterwards I got rezzed and caught up with the Assassin again and continued to spray him with bugspray...I must have done at least 100 points of damage to him with my flit gun.

On Vector I was lucky I got him lots of times, but he killed when we got him almost down.

My first sighting of the assassin on top the roof of club Avalon, Midian Park (Baelfor here's your screenie Bro):

I believe this aspect of the Assassin was killed in Eshean just over the wall from club Avalon. I was there for a moment, got another hit on him and then got totally wasted, almost died, barely got away. When I came back he was down real low and then he was dead. Didn't get a screenie there. Too much lag...

Hunted him down at the Sobra Shores subway station on Syntax, and followed in the mad chase after him that ensued...heh. I managed to blast him a few times with the Flit Gun. Definitely had alot of fun.

Sobra on Syntax too. Got a few shots in, but it was hard to find him with the sea of bodies. I miss /addwaypoint.

It was fun enough for me just hunting that sucker down.

A good chunk of FA was running around Stamos for about 10 minutes chasing him down. More Zionites began to trickle in. The Assassin took me down in two hits, then I crashed when I tried to reconstruct. (Not complaining. Just giving a play-by-play.) By the time I got back in, the Assassin was down and there were over 50 players surrounding him. Then we all started hardline hopping to find the other Assassin copies. Tyndall ordered us into Jacob's Ladder, and nearly every Zionite on the server showed up. I was lagging so hard that I couldn't help but laugh. Niobe said her piece, and then the servers crashed entirely. I had never seen so many people crammed into such a small place.

This was an insanely great event. Obscure puzzles, an elusive enemy, teamwork, and a unique and awesomely buffed reward for a very select few. I couldn't ask for more.

Can't wait for the next installment of the story!

I dont have any screenshots, I was DJing on Awakened Radio during the event. I was able to get 2 shots off from my flit gun before being turned into a pile of flesh

Well mostly I followed him around and sprayed him alittle here and there... I take it my accumulated damage was about 150-200.. Got some hits that caused him 25 damage some times...

Was quite fun actually till i crashed but after that it was all good again.

All in all, a nice event and not too late.

Some pictures of me chaasing the assassin... Was oddly enough alone on some occasions. maybe the lag had something to do with it?

After that we were off to Club Avalon where we met Agent Pace for a couple of secs and that was it I guess.

Oh and after that we went to Tabor West to get a look at theconstant's Assassin mask. Nice. But wierd seeing it with hair... :smileyvery-happy:

I almost landed the final blow in Uriah on Syntax, but Omega beat me to it lol. Still congratulation Omega.

Of course for some reason after Assassin killed me a previous time when I came back I had the health bug so I just stood there and kept hitting him. He finally got mad at me at singled me out but couldn't kill me lol. It's kind of funny using one of there bugs against them

Well... I found it one time while in a critical mission with my 2nd PG...

Then with my 1st PG I and my teammates hit tons of blows ( :smileysurprised: ) to him...

Sincerely I dont remember how many, but we followed him all over Club Avalon.
