How about SOE got some servers that were new and thus didn't lag?

Just asking, because when I look at other MMO's they don't have the little minisecond lag that is not only a problem for MxO but for every other game they have, so just a suggestion to buy some new servers, don't use all their space and stop being cheap.

EDIT: and yes I know that it's been said a zillion million times before just beating the dead horse as I think it's the worst kind of treatment of customers ever. SMILEY

I don't suffer from any lag except taking into consideration the Servers are hosted in the US, and im in the UK. It's usually fine for me

Last week I got bad lag a couple of times (region of 1400 latency) but I solved that by resetting my router, so I can't blame the servers for it. Usually when I play I have pretty much the same latency as any other online game hosted in Europe or the US. Which isn't much really even when Syntax is on medium. I've noticed a couple of spikes where the lag seems to have originated from the servers, but only when there are a lot of players around (LV and big PvP at Mara C)and the lag didn't last long.

This goes for me too. The only lag/rubberbanding I get it when I'm downloading other patches from other games at the same time as playing MXO.

SOE is doing more then enough to reduce lag in this game - i mean latency shouldn't even be an issue they've managed to cut down on 2/3's of the strain on the servers by removing 6 of them, moreover with their elimination of a heavy amount of the player base things should be running even more smoothly, i don't get what the complaints about lag are for.

Servers don't relate to lag in the way you've suggested.

The only real problems with lag I've been having recently is the complete disconnection I get whenever I enter IL, although thats sorted itself out now....

I used to when I had a wireless internet but in all fairness I don't have too many issues with lag anymore.

I have to admit that I have a problem with lag. I have a prety specked out Pc and still have a little bit of trouble. I play other MMO and I dont seem to get this lagg and they have higher system requirments. I ahve a shi* hot net connection aswell and a top spec router? Hmmm puzzles me? :S

I have no lag issues 97% of the time.  get a new computer along with better bandwith and see if that helps. oh and I don't agree with the topic idea of new servers. good day
