Message Start.

What have you been doing with your life?
What have you been doing for your cause? - Not those people who claim to have your best interests at heart, but those ideals you truly believe in.

Or have you given up on actually holding those ideals simply because those "higher up on the chain of command" tell you what to do. Or have you given up on those ideals because those people, or those around you have told you that they can't be achieved - at least not now.

Do you remember when you stood for peace and all our leaders did was push us closer and closer towards war? I do.
Do you remember when that tense peace collapsed and we saw the other side's dagger raised to strike? I do.

But do you remember what you stand for? Through the peace, through the conflict, through the orders, through the obscurity, and through the diversions?

I do.

I stand for freedom. And I will kill for that freedom just as easily as I will die for it. I will do whatever is necessary.

I've gone long enough letting them hold me back. I've realized that they know as much or as little as any of us, for the most part.
I've realized that those figureheads that think they have good sense enough to direct everyone are simply politicians saving face.

They're not willing to be the bad guy to get things done.

Well, I am.

One or more code bombs will be detonated somewhere within the simulation from this day forward the Machines submit to unconditional surrender. Until then, we'll shine the light on just how much they really love the bluepill population. My guess is that their compassion for them is equal to or less than mine.

Before you ask why, I'll answer. Because I'm sick of this year-long obsession with wireframe men and women, override programs, "Mauser," Oligarchs, map fragments, and BIPs that seem to offer no advantage to us. Haven't we been at war with this force which declared that there will be no new awakenings and that we would be obliterated? And what has the council done? What about Ghost, Niobe, Colt, Lock, Roland - any of them?

Nothing. They're just chasing invisible men.

Years ago, when asked what we would do if war broke out again, I stated that I'd likely grab up every code bomb that I could find and destroy the Matrix. Well, I gave the alternative over a year to manifest itself and nothing happened.

And I can't just let nothing happen any longer.

So all I say is examine your own beliefs and the position you've been put into and take affirmative action to realign your position with your beliefs.

And meanwhile, if you disagree with me (as I'm certain most of you do) you are free to try and stop me. But don't step in my way without absolute conviction in your beliefs.

If by chance, you are a part of the minority who will agree with me, you may wish to contact me. I'm sure you'll find a way.

And if Zion chooses to disown me, so be it. But remember what I have done for the sake of Zion and know that I am doing what I am not because I believe that the actions mesh with the philosophies of Zion, but because I believe they will result in the freedom which I see so very necessary to our very way of life, and perhaps even our survival. And I do believe that goal meshes with the philosophy of Zion.

So catch me if you can. And when you do, make sure to kill me, so I can never do it again.

## Transmission Initiated... ##
## Transmission Source: BLOCKED ##
## Anomalous filters in use. Accept transmission with discretion ##

There's two ways to look at what you're proposing...

The first is: why make a show of force by harming the weakest persons? If you really want to impress the enemy, why not aim for something higher and harder? Otherwise, you come off looking more like a hyena attacking the aged and ailing members of the herd than a lion aiming for the lead animals in that herd.

The second is: remember that in destroying the Matrix, you are destroying the habitat of at least one, if not two sentient races. I speak primarily of the Exiles, but it can be argued that it is also that of billions of humans, many of whom are too old or too set in their ways to adapt to life outside the Matrix. I hope you have a grave big enough for all the people who will die of exposure in the tunnels under the power plants, and I hope New Zion has adequate medical facillities -- physical and mental -- for all of the survivors, many of whom will be traumatized to the point of utter mental instability, and none of whom will be strong enough to take care of their own physical needs for some time. Even if you only succeed in harming a handful of Bluepills, imagine the suffering and heartache their surviving families will feel, having to bury a loved one. As a member of my family says, "Keep the Bluepills out of Redpill politics".

As for the Exiles... Imagine yourself as a civilian in a landscape of total war involving two powers, one of whom is committing genocide against your kind, the other barely regards you as even *existing*, let alone regards your life as worthy of protecting. Imagine now that one of those powers has declared that in order to succeed in their goal, they're going to carpet bomb your country with nuclear warheads, making your country unliveable. And imagine, for the sake of arguement, that you have little means of escaping, and even then, it means you and your entire people are going to obliged to exist in extremely cramped conditions.

I admire your passion. However, I see you as completely misdirected and so monomaniac that you fail to grasp what's really at stake here.

This view does not necessarily reflect that of the Merovingian organization as a body politic.

The Merovingian encourages your pernicious use of force.

I wasn't speaking for the organization, I was speaking for myself. Besides... I prefer not to make threats one way or the other, but to keep people guessing....

You gave a lot of "reasons" not to, but you didn't give any better suggestions.  You simply said, "No, don't do that."

Keep up with the status quo?  It's working oh so well...  He knows exactly what's at stake.  The beurocratic bull needs to stop.  It's time that things are done, instead of idealizing what could be.  It's time that change occurrs instead of us vs. them vs. them vs. us.  I'm sick and tired of everyone on every side walking along.  We're asleep again, and it's time that we woke up.  It's time to do something and to stop waiting for something to happen to us.

I've said it before, Neoteny, and I'll say it again.  I'm in.

I have given my word on the topic of mass slaughter of life for political/war gain. And I will say it again.

Unless you are mentally blocking out recent events, the Machines don't run the show. The Oligarchs have the strings, and the Machines are at the end of it.

Simply put you aren't even attempted to topple the tower of oppression, but merely destroying innoccents in hope that it will change things, when in all reality, it will simply make a negligible change in the war, and make the masses more morose and mentally unrested as usual.

The guns should be pointed at the Oligarchs, unless you are far too afraid of them, inwhichcase keep killing the bluepills with little to no effect.

Have fun accomplishing nothing.

Bolding mine: This was what I had in mind in my earlier transmission, but it seems certain personages were bent more on not hearing what they didn't want to hear...

Am I the only Exile left who still appreciates the use of force?  No wonder the Merovingian is on the backfoot these nights, what with operatives this spineless.
