This item would look right at home on a Cypherite. While the main points of the films were about a greenish tint and lack of blue in the simulation, I have to say that operatives have a lot more freedom right now despite the current conflict that means wearing blue. Obviously these blue jeans won't be abundant so the colour itself will still be very rare. Although I'd have thought that a blue item of clothing would be better as a LE reward item for a Cypherite. Still, they look decent enough and those non participating people will still be able to get the more worn versions, although they're probably going to be another item to grind for. Somtimes I wish a new item of clothing would just be included in random drops and have standard non-amazing buffs. In fact sometimes I think the grind for items (Overdrives etc...) should also be in the loot tables from NPC's only incredibly rare, rarer than getting the effect you can get from Mobius, but eh, thats just me, imagine the joy of miraculously looting an Area K off an Unlimit, although any drops like that would probably be low on stability and no purity... /shrug

Lets be brutally honest here.. anything that can invoke consumer based incentive to spend money on this game right now is a good thing at the end of the day all lore aside. Noones forcing the player base to buy these items theyl be able to get a grey version without paying.

I like the idea of a new itemI like the idea that those going to fanfaire get an itemI don't like the idea of selling the item which goes against general Matrix rules, just to give it a selling point.
I honestly don't see why it's such a big deal to have blue in the matrix. C'mon... a color... breaking the foundations of the matrix?
It certainly can't be any worse than the whole re-insertion fiasco.
Also, for the record: $40 just to get a certain color of jeans just isn't worth it.
I mean honestly, if we were going to be giving out this "blue" stuff, it should've been during the SleepWalker event for crying out loud.
eye apologize for going all negative earlier. i was fustrated because we (this game) iz in a different place than it was a year ago and i thought that people who are going to fan faire were getting a new clothing item that i thought would be unavailable to rest of us.
i understand now that we will eventually get some jeans 2, they just wont be blue.
i can deal with that.
i am truly sorry for getting emotional.
Seriously, the blue sky t-shirts? People wear them all the time. That's just as much of a "Matrix-breaking" blue, and the jeans will probably even be on less people.

I agree and I wouldn't pay $40 dollars for a pair of in game jeans either...
No belt for the men? I take it that's an issue with the model of pants rather than gender descrimination!
I saw this retrieval and thought hmmm..... Shall I register?... Then I snapped out of it and realised! Ra2za smell the coffee you can get how many beers for that much! haha!
I think it is a nice little incentive for people going or could go, But I for one am a GMT Player.
I personally think these kind of textures should be applied to all the clothing models! After all this proves high res textures can be applied in game right?
The GI'S were reviewed. So why cant the other items?
Anyways like I say not knocking the insentive just think some more <3 could be given to existing models....
Anyways thats my two scents!
Nice jeans!
