Operatives,
Congratulations on successfully ending the threat to the system posed by Anome's cheat code-enhanced operative known as "Genev." By tracking a former associate of hers, whose attempt at a peaceful resolution with her was...misguided, operatives were able to determine her location, pursue, and ultimately neutralize her.
Our data has shown that those who have consumed the cheat code vials can no longer jack out of the simulation; thus, any death they suffer here is permanent. They exhibit abnormally aggressive behavior and, as many of you have experienced first-hand, highly destructive powers.
As we learned in tracking Genev, these mutated redpills also have a corruptive effect on the simulation's code; Genev's own corruptive influence was such that most of the data collected on her was scrambled beyond recognition. Based on what fragmentary records remained to us, Agent Pace was able to single out the following operatives for exemplary field service on this occasion:
Bayamos - for locating both Genev's former associate, and then Genev herself, and for his great persistence in neutralizing her
deviljonny - for persistence in pursuit of the target
LexBeN - for being the first to engage the target
reaper2u - for inflicting the final blow resulting in the target's deletion
While your human "feelings" may cause you to feel sympathy for the particularly pathetic case of Genev's loss of what you term "humanity," we remind you that the safety of the System is our primary purpose, and the fulfillment of that purpose requires the deletion of these extraordinary threats to the simulation's stability.
Efficiently,
Agent Gray
((Gray was on Vector... now I KNOW he is avoiding me. Curses.  )
She was restored to Order by the work of Chaos.
Shame I wasn't on to help at the time but great work Bayamos, DevilJonny, LexBen and Reaper2u.
Thump, thump, thump.
Another one bites the dust--and another one down, another one down, another one bites the dust!
Where was I?!?
There's a detail I haven't understood about this event, and I'd be glad if someone cleared me up: It looks like Gilles was attempting to meet Genev on his own, and the Machines found him and tracked him down -- his perplexity when surrounded by the Machine operatives speaks for itself. However, Gray says: "We were able to correspond with and old associate of hers." Looks to me like they had met an arrangement with him to contact Genev, which doesn't make sense.
I'm probably just being dumb, but would like to see this explained. Thank you.
