This game is probably one of the funnest games I have ever played...and I have to play it alone.

Seriously, what's happening to this game? I know why it is the way it is, but i just cant except it.

People are too afraid to play because of:

-the prices (which are honestly high)

-The negativity in the forumns (but posted for good reason)

-NO ADVERTISEMENT!

It's sad to watch great games like this crash and burn. No updates, no players, no future.

I've seen games come in and out, and that's all i really see for this game. I dont regret the 20 bux i spent to play again, but my brother and I both agree that we're not subscribing next month. There's just no community. agreed?

I personally don't recommend people to subsribe. Probably buy the download for $20 and enjoy the free month, but no point in playing after that. Enjoy the game for what it offers.

Maybe in the future...MXO rox my sox, but 5 people per server just isn't a party...

What org you in? and timezone? Add me, TheBruceter.

Population has took a dive over the past 5 month or so. Vector has their hardcore players, and then those who will only log on once and a while. Total hit or a miss recently. I'v got 3 lvl 50's so far and i can say that its better than obvioulsy pvpn/farming solo alot. Working on my last char on vector right now, after that i might try reccy but i donno. Alot of people have obviously left due to no updates or Live Events but there is still people here, just not as many as years ago  But also remember the time of year right now, exams.. people 'should' be studying

There's a glaring omission on your list:  No new content.  No new story.  No new anything.  What MxO is right this minute is what MxO will continue to be until the end.

As someone who joined the party pretty late, I totally understand how awesome the game seems, and how confusing it is that no one seems to be around to play it anymore.  The thing is, everything that's brand new to you is really old to everyone else.

No one wants to play the same things that they've done a hundred times before, you know?  After a while, repetition is boring.

Even if today there were new devs brought in, you figure you've got a huge learning curve to figure out how to even use half of the tools that remain since there's no one left who really knows it to even begin to teach it.  Sure "it can't be that hard," but when it comes down to it, learning costs more money than it would make.  To pay someone to mess around with the source code but not produce anything for at least one... two, hell maybe even up to six months would be craziness at this point.
