Chapter 7: Truths Unveiled Recap

7.1 - Da Bomb. Link

During a celebration being held by members of E Pluribus Neo, Machine operatives are sent to apprehend a target in possession of a code bomb. The target/operative of E Pluribus Neo, Desideroso, is a member of the Hovercraft Sacrificus, and newly awakened. Much to his surprise, the Machine operatives were quick to locate him.

Due to the large presence of EPN operatives, the Machine operatives were severely outnumbered; the operatives retrieved the code bomb that Desideroso had recieved through an unknown entity and made their way out of the club, back to Special Agent Purcell.

7.2 - Making a Mockery. Link / 7.2 - Doin' the 3-Step. Link

With the recent news of a newly awakened EPN operative causing some trouble in Downtown Chelsea with the Machine organization, the Cypherites were quick to look into the matter for themselves.

Masquerad, a former Zionite captain gone rogue, took it upon himself to approach the individual. Soon enough, the introductions led to a fire fight between both E Pluribus Neo, Cypherites and Machine operatives. All sides seemed to have suffered from the battle.

7.3 - A Firm Take on the Removal of an Exile. Link

Lucite, an Exile who is known for having caused numerous issues in the past couple of months, seemed to have fallen under the radar with her recent activity. As a result, the Machines found it to be an opportune time to take action against her and those who have aligned themselves with the Exile.

Special Agent Betts and Purcell encounter operative "W4rbl4de" in a meeting with Ancelin, Lucite's former secretary, and terminated the Exile on site.

7.4 - That's the Way the Building Crumbles. Link

As Cypherite Extremist, Valeska, is leading production within a building in Tabor Park for a rumored prototype, members of E Pluribus Neo prepare to intervene.

When E Pluribus Neo are within range to raid the facility, signals of Cypherite operatives within the building begin to decipitate within the code. When EPN operatives, Desideroso and Orazio, give the order to search the facility for any Cyph's left behind, two individuals are found; Dana Gordon, Senior Editor for The Cerberus, is located within her office and a female Cypherite loyalist is located somewhere else in the building, within the lower levels. Both are led out of the building by EPN operatives, while Desideroso stays behind, alone, to try and find evidence that may implicate the Machines in some sort of master plan.

Dana Gordon is questioned and led to her apartment, free of suspicion, while the Cypherite loyalist found within the building was killed within a subway station by an operative of EPN. Once the teams rendezvous in Camon Heights, Captain Macarius informs Orazio that Desideroso's signal was lost, due to an explosion in Tabor Park.

When operatives of Zion and EPN reach the scene of the explosion, Special Agent Purcell is on site to inform them of what occured; two operatives were found dead -- one fitting the description of Desideroso and another fitting the description of a Cypherite.

7.5 - The Bad Touch. Link

Following the death of his former crewmate, Desideroso, Orazio decides to meet with operatives of E Pluribus Neo to speak with them on a personal basis. The captain had made an appearance, earlier in the week, and spoke with the masses... but didn't reveal much else, other than a new perspective.

Until Desideroso's death, Captain Macarius had been freeing non-potentials under the pretense that "If they bare a resemblance members of the Nebuchadnezzar, then they must be freed, for they may hold the key to location the reincarnation of The One; be them having shown potential or not."

While speaking to the operatives, Orazio recieves a call from a Machine operative and is asked to meet with the individual. Such is done, only to be led into a hostile situation -- Machine vs. EPN operatives.

7.6 - Urgency. Link

Weeks have past and nothing pertinent has emerged from previous incidents...

Special Agent Betts is removed from duty, as he was afficted with the Smith Virus, following its return a couple weeks prior; Agent Betts is then replaced by Special Field Program Serona. Rumors of bluepill deaths lead Serona to partake in a private investigation in the matter, where she was subdued and poisoned by human operatives.

As a result, two high profile Machine operatives are asked to procure the program, Serona. They were successful in doing so, although they encountered some odd resistance, along the way.

Very good recap.

My #1 suggestion would be for the members of the Vector community who are interested to contact Vector PET and get involved. I enjoy participating in these events as it's the content that everyone's always bickering about not having. It's enjoyable for me and I personally hope that all of the people who signed on to the Vector RPvP thread can come forward and get involved.
