tbh, I really thought the 10th shirt was finally gonna be an agents shirt/suit jacket, and the female version of it, at least that woulda been worthwhile to get.

That would have been a good idea, I must admit....

How about complaining about it when it's finished?
You have no idea what's in store for the coming weeks...
You never know, the Dev's may be keeping something up their sleeves.... If they have them...

1) Thats always good.
2)How about i start complaining now.
3) nothing in store? Ive been in this game from the beggining , and let me tell you...im not expecting much. Maybe a dev MIGht actualy get on a character and name him Smith. Then go around killing people , making them him smithlings *like the movie* and then everyone will be flagged.
4)Again , i wont expect the devs to do anything.

If they do , then ive been proven wrong. But i have yet to be proven wrong when it comes to events like this.

Ive seen people log on that i havent seen since cr1 Just to see the 2 year event. This could of been mxo big break through but i dont think sony saw that and didn't realy try.

Well, like I said there are still 2 weeks left, I for one hope you will get proven wrong this time. Nothing against what you have said, you've obviously been here longer than I have, and thus have had extensive experience. I agree that this could be MxO's biggest marketing call since inception. I just hope that, in addition to what is going on now, after only one day, there may be a delicious surprise in store for us all....

SOE have released a press release, it is sort of advertising a game.  They haven't forgot about us.

I am going to tenatively agree with you. And tenatively disagree with you.

Let me say this so I make myself clear:

WALRUS THIS IS OUR PROBABLY LAST AND BIG CHANCE TO MAKE MxO REVELANT TO THE GAMING WORLD, DONT SCREW IT UP.

  1. I love the luggable and I forgive the glitch regarding the hunting down of luggables.
  2. I love the Smith Virus, you oughta see the Nasty Smiths I have made in the Creston Dungeon or in Blood Disciples in Westview... Fun Fun Fun!!
  3. I love seeing some folks I have not seen in a year. Folks logging in and having fun again.
  4. SOE need to SCREAM to the gaming world about us. Yes I mean SCREAM!!!
  5. We as players need to be blogging the game.
  6. I want to see TV advertising! Bet we can get more folks!
If this event has a crappy ending thats probably the end for me.

Lets see?

true, dat.

/ end plug

mind you, I doubt the crazy cost of putting ads on TV would be less than the profit made from whatever meager amount of subscribers the game managed to pick up through such advertising.

Found a bug with the luggables and data miner.

If someone jacks out while holding a luggable, the lugg does not drop and any data miner using the handheld will get a waypoint to where the person jacked out at.

boy were you right lmao actually, a lot of people guessed this, myself being one of them. I, like a lot of people, were hopeful at first, but it was a vague kind of hope, not really expecting much. When you don't have a lot of money and only one dev doing the live events, something as big as the smith virus was turned into random npc spawning events plus a rare lv100 smith virus. And, no surprise here, no good loot on any of the lv60 smithlings, just frags and info and, for the most part, lv40 gear. Yay.

When you take something as popular and widely regarded as story canon as the Smith Virus and downscale it to unbelievable levels, that's when you know a game has no future. New items are just re-textured recycles of old items, new static content is introduced wayyyyy to rarely, and the storyline is still something only a diehard could love. I don't know what kind of audience SoE is adhering too, but it's not one that's very lucrative. Like a lot of people have said, this could have been the one thing to finally get this game some attention, but sony, as usual, ignored it.
