Hello there, Rarebit. I suppose you feel a bit like Alice...

Just decided to make a welcoming post like the one HCFrog got.
Rarebit's the second person with 'Dev' under their name that I've seen.

In the spirit of giving and crummy Photoshop painting, here's a (poor) attempt at a sig:

(Yes, I know that's a rabbit and not a rarebit, but if you've ever seen what rarebit looks like, you wouldn't want to see it in a sig.)

Heehee... nothing's cuter than a bunny with a pancake on its head.

... Cept maybe a hamster with a knife strapped to it. SMILEY

EDIT: Aw... You changed it. I liked the pancake bunny...

Criminey! Here I was, idly wondering whether anyone would have seen me, thinking "no, no way, I was careful"...and here we are. Should have known better, I suppose.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm not sure what or when I'll be posting, as I've been too busy working on stuff I can't talk about yet (but take it from me, you do not want to end up hand-editing quaternions...) to ask Walrus what I'm allowed/supposed to be doing here SMILEY. I figure in any case I'll probably just end up getting baited into saying something I shouldn't, but what can you do.

Thanks for the sig, Symmetric! It's better than anything I could whip up--though I warn you folks that I may inflict a hand-drawn one on you after the holidays.

My Google-fu may have led me down the wrong path, but quaternions are to do with physics, right?

physics now why would they want to be doing stuff like that hmmmm......

maybe the enemy death will be ragdoll deaths you might be able to move
stuff like a huge rock will be hard to move and if you can move it the
moving would be slow where as a trash can would be easy

I'm a second year physics graduate student, and I've never heard the term before in nuclear or quantum.  I did a google search, and it appears to me from wikipedia that it's a purely mathematical construct involving matrices and complex numbers.  So, in theory, it could be used in physics, though I've never had to use it.
