There's a powdery snowman in Tabor also. Go North-West from Tabor West right to the corner of the waters edge. I'd post coords and pictures but I'm at work so can't jack in!

For those of you who have plenty of info, and don't really need masses of Snowflakes you might just want to call the mission get to the first spawn of NPCs, kill them, then restart the mission.

And ignore those poor bluepills all together? SMILEY I think you missed the true meaning of this mission.

Anyone have an idea of the drop rate for the ruby flakes and the ratio of perfect snowflakes to ruby snowflakes? For eample you might get 1 ruby for every x number of perfect flakes you've collected.

I don't know if there's a ratio as such, but looking at the Snowflakes I stored from last year, after trading for the winter sets, I had 60 Perfect Snowflakes by 4 Ruby Snowflakes, meaning a rough ratio of 15 to 1. That's more or less an average of 5 missions to get a Ruby Snowflake.

Having thrown resistance will lower the damage they deal considerably.

While this would make sense, I was pretty sure I tried this and didn't seen any results as far as lessened damage.  Can anyone confirm this?

After some farming with the winter stuff (first time since i've always managed to miss it for whatever reason ): I decided to chekc out the drop rates... since it became apparent that i was getting a distinct lack of Ruby Snowflakes.

I tried several methods different locations and i found a suitable farming method to collect as many snowflakes both perfect and ruby as possible.

Its worth mentioning that instead of trading snowflakes as you attain them for some reason once you receive the first ruby the rest come more frequently.. the initial one always takes the longest to get from what i have experienced. So save them all untill you have the required amount.

(5 of each snowball, 90 perfect snowflakes and 4 ruby for every years male winter items, i still haven't written down female yet)

Farmed 40 snowflakes today, got 4 rubies with them. Ratio 1:10?

Got twenty snowflakes earlier, and picked up 2 ruby flakes in the same time span.  Far from a huge sample, but maybe that ratio isn't too far off.
