I have been trying to run MxO on my new laptop (Toshiba) with Windows Vista. I got the game to come up but when in the game I have NO HUD....  Hud appears when jacking out but disapears when aborting jackout.. ie.. moving.......  I tried hitting the CTRL-U and the hotbar frame disapears and reapears each time... does anyone have a clue what the heck is going on?

Well, I guess I fixed it blindly....  by choosing a different screen size while jacking out... although it wasn't working while still logged on.. when I logged on after changing the screen res... seems to be working now...   who knows....

I don't understand why that worked.  I'll submit it to the Quality Assurance team for investigation, but it may have been a fluke.

OK.  Thanks.

I'm kinda new to Windows Vista and have been trying to get all my stuff set up on this Laptop.  I had first tried to just copy the Monilith directory to the laptop  then I used store package to install it before I figured out I had to run it in ADMIN mode.  It was doing this "no hud" then so I copied the directory from my XP system again.. still same thing...  only after I managed to reset screen size.. and restart the game did I get the hud back.  I still am not sure exactly what happend or why.

I still have another issue I'm digging into.. seems I loose my double click on my mous button after I start MxO...  I'm using a logitech cordless optical trackman.  It may be another UAC problim with VISTA...  who knows...lol
