Hi,

So I understand that there is an XP Booster out there that one can acquire. But thats about all I know about it. So,

1. is it acquired in Datamine or by Data Mining?
2. Is it a singleton?
3. Does it award 10% of the TOTAL XP remaining till the next level, or does it award 10% of the XP required to level in general (i.e. say I need 1mill XP to level. 10% of that is 100,000XP. Say I've done 200,000XP already leaving me with 800,000XP to go. Will using the booster
   1. Give me 100,000XP regardless of the 200,00 that I've already completed? or
   2. Give me 80,000XP since that is 10% of the amount of XP LEFT for me to level?)

1) It is acquired by Data-mining either in Data Mine or the Matrix. 

2) No.  You can have as many as your inventory allows.  However, it cannot be traded and can only be looted from the Data Cluster by the person who tapped the node.

3) It basically rewards you on bar (or blip as some say) of XP.

They drop off the npcs from the DM Spawns. I believe it gives 10% of your total xp needed to level.

I think its number 2.

I think its actually number 1.

Say your xp blip is half way and then you take the amp, it goes half way on the next blip, i'm sure.

Donno if its the same if you do it to level or not though.

From what I remember it's an entire 10th of your XP to the next level, so it'd be Number 1.

To clarify; if you use ten Exp Amps you will gain an entire level.

So general consensus is that it's scenario 1. In that case, I need to get someone to farm them for me / with me =P

Also, just found out that it's called an "Experience Code Amplifier".

I think it was Tamedragon who saved 10 XP amps for when she got to lvl 49.

I done that on my syntax char  I had left a bunch of access nodes to do aswell so the last bunch of levels were a breeze

Was planning on taking one after i had tomo'd someone, that would have been quite funny. I know Dulux punted someone *cough* hlew *cough* and took an amp ha ha

Don't worry about "blips".  If you need 1,000,000 more XP to the next level, it gives you 100,000.

i actually had 15 in the end but yeah as soon as i hit 49 i used em...its 10% of the lvl not the xp left....so 1 blip per exp booster

and which npcs drop these? are they rare? easy to find if you know how?
