Yup, that means that at worst case, you'll get up to -90+ acc debuff from e.g. Code Infection 4.0. That's just shocking.

The question is, do they get influenced before or after they are applied to the base? Because that makes a large difference.

Eh? It doesn't make a jot of difference. The base is influenced as well. Either the base and the bonus are influenced then added together, or they're added together then influenced. It doesn't matter.

(x + y) * z = x*z + y*z

We won't get rolls, because that would break combat. We'd be able to calculate an opponent's defense points, and use that to our advantage. As it stands, showing the accuracy bonuses only helps people who couldn't be bothered to work it out themselves - as task which was certainly possible.

*yawn*  another boring patch without much content added. I sometimes wonder why I still play.  when does a patch come out that has something worth getting instead of a useless sword or ugly trench coast with  not much buffs.  I  would like to see a patch that doesn't focus so much on mission type o's  etc    etc...  and focus more on content. SMILEY

Well, that's not what I meant. If they get influenced, THEN added to the base points and the AGAIN the base (with the bonus added) gets influenced, it DOES matter. All boni are added together in the end, the question still is, when are they influenced and when are they added?

Content alone doesn't make for a decent patch, the dev team have worked their asses off for this update, which includes 3 new peices of clothing and an FX reward when usually we only get an FX reward, couple this with a big hotfix coming to sort out bullettime and IL bugs.

Plus every FX reward we've had is only useful for screenshots and for showing off for a bit of time (or if lucky... perpetually). With that, seeing as the sword is only cosmetic, it fulfils the category perfectly. I would prefer a patch which has a healthy mix of bug fixes and content like this one.

A hotfix is when the game is updated ahead of schedule, usually for the sake of fixing a bug or other problem that cannot be allowed to go on for long if at all.

Oh and also...there's a lot more visual stuff added than we knew about from the patch notes. There's some new items, The Intruder's awesome RSI, and some weird "accelerator" programs. I hope at some point they show up in the patch notes, so people will know about them. I think they should've just had a teaser like days of old when they'd say "Items for story purposes" or the like.

The right-click menu on PCs has also changed.  Details is at the top and Recruit to Mission/Crew are on the right.
