I'll bet you a year's subscription pay that it would be far more valued than the Anniversary. Hell, every time Walrus says anything about the state of the game these days (few posts they may be), the shadows on everyone's faces gets a little lighter.
...Heh. If only in the sense of turning on the light for a second just after you've adjusted your eyes to the darkness.
You''ll get Nothing and like it!

Pleasure needs no explanation. Smarmy smugness accepts none. Have a nice day!

Well said. Some individuals may see this as an insult, while others accept what can be granted for paying fifteen dollars (or X amount of insert currency here) a month to enjoy a game that is obviously dying.
There are optomists in this world who try to find a silver lining in the darkest of things, sugaree just happens to be one of those people. Pessimists can't see past the fact that someone who can hope and dream are actually doing only that (or in rare cases, hopeful wishing) for things to change. Will it happen? Probably not. But...why take that away? Why don't you try to explain who will undertake her requests for all the 'wonderful items' for our fabulous anniversary? She probably doesn't have an answer (and neither do most), and her wishes do not warrant an explaination, as she stated.
Some of us just try to explore and enjoy the game for what it's worth and not worry about trivial details on trivial things...like who is going to code all the items she'd like to see or implement past iterations of unattainable items at present.
As for me, at least we're getting something. SOE could have easily said screw you guys, just rot and burn until you cannot any longer! The fact they're still putting the game on life support at least leaves me to believe they're not quite done yet. Then another part of me says otherwise.
Moral of the story: If you don't like the game for what it's become, the cancel button is in your subscriptions page. Take a couple clicks of the left mouse button to just leave this game alone. But if you're going to stick around, respect what people wish and don't ask trivial questions about trivial issues when someone is merely trying to give ideas and support for a game she likes to play.
Just my two cents on the matter.
Wish Virrago put down that Dracomet would of been there! I'd of came over otherwise! To the party thing, that is.

So, how was the party funeral?

Its not trivial at all. In fact its probably the farthest thing from trivial in regards to this game. This is the reality of the situation now, even if the tone came off as harsh or incredulous. Consider that this is the exact opposite of the very thing that got us to a four year Anniversary in the first place...a dynamic, interactive, storyline driven game. Its no wonder that the majority of the players are very dissappointed, to say the least! Optimism or pssimism has nothing to do with it. The semi-official word is is that there will be exactly zero new content forvermore. So at a certain point its going to sound really silly for people to post pie-in-the sky wishlists for content when there will never be any more content. In fact, to some, it might even rub salt in the wound. Just sayin.

12 new shirts?
Or are we wording it weirdly?

QF I couldn't have put it more eloquently.
An I wish I had your godlike powers of optimisim Nicks..
Smith virus, MxO servers. Anyone spot the similarities?
Major continuity error... The Oracle is not in that shell anymore. Or is this like that story where there was an alien attack and the train pulled in to the station and the servers went in to loop and the train pulled into the station and the servers went in to loop and the train pulled into the station and the servers went in to loop and the train pulled into the station and...
Party like it's 2008!

Lies.
The truth is that the Oracle was in league with Halborn. He pretended to kill her only so that she could work on this year's batch of cookies in peace while the Merv/Machines were distracted by the Wireframe Gang.
Now that the anniversary is here, they've left the Matricks and all has returned to it's normal state of "war" in the vicious cycle we know as the Matricks Online.
Cookie?
Shoot, I missed the part over there. Did anyone get the Perpetual Flame Virus or can only Devs give that out?
