Waifs,

The General is apparently hard of hearing--a condition not unusual in one his age. I begin seriously to doubt that this decrepit failure can possibly have what we seek. Senility should be cured at gunpoint... Still, the Merovingian's orders are clear, and will be obeyed. Some means of making the old fossil listen to reason must be found.

Although Flood is an azz, but I must say, that was actually amusing. Hmm...

Too bad the 3 Stooges messed that up. They got smacked around by those Elite Commandos... Did you really expect them to succeed, Flood? lol Ahh man...this made my night. Silly Merovingian operatives...

((That was a well RPed Event. Props to everyone. Was that really Rarebit RPing Flood? If it was; seems as if Rarebit is takin' it up a notch with the RP.)) SMILEY

That was really cool.  A very straightforward event with good character interaction.  I would have really had some fun if I got to talk to the General like that.

Was it better than todays event? Because today's was, well lets say in the nicest way... "Two thumbs way down!"

that was the best dialogue ever.

Flood: "Maybe the General was...indisposed. Simple... Straightforward"

Denary "Yes he was looking at the sunrise. Real busy"

Flood: "..."

that was awsome

Wow, I really enjoyed reading that.  Well done everybody.  The operatives tack with the General could have been better, but it could have been an awful lot worse.  I think Rarebit chose very well :)

##Re: The General

Dear Mr. Flood,

Of course you weren't going to get The General to meet with your boss.  The General didn't come into the Matrix through him, so what does he own the Merv, nothing!  Also, I seem to recall his helicopters dropping fliers that has "Do not trust The Frenchman" on them.  However, I know why the Merv wanted to meet with him, he wants more power, and The General is a powerful exile.  Maybe too powerful for the Merv taste, who knows.  Next time, you might want to think these things through.

Just what we expected the Merovingian to do.

(( I loved reading this event, it makes you also wonder if the outcome could have been different, since we know rarebit now relies on more that 1 possible outcome in some events))

(( Definately one of the most cinematic event postings to date. The scenario, the rp, the interation, it was all spot on. And the screenshots, my god the screenshots. The angles, the facial expressions, the lighting, the emotion. Perfect.

I for one loved reading it and couldnt help but actually smile a little.

Also worth mentioning is the fact one of the screenies is the ingame equivilant of Rare's new style general sketch, nice touch that. ))

An unfortunate outcome, but of course the direct approach does not appease all tastes. Never the less ours too will be satisfied, other means shall indeed be found. The General will know our persistence and should not underestimate it.

Oh I'd have loved to have been there for that...I think we could have gotten him to blush, even.
