With all the radio stations to choose from, this crowd obviously likes thier beats.  What do like to listen too?  I lean more towards punk rawk and metal.  Every once in a while I'll listen to Eminem or Wierd Al.  j00?

I usually listen to dance music, although I listen to occasional rock and even punk (I hate punk :smileymad:), di.fm has a large selection of radio stations playing different genres of music so I usually tune into one of them.

I mainly like most types of rock, classic rock, alternative rock, metal, that stuff. But overall I listen to all kinds of music including rap. Some rap is cool like Eminem, Jurrasic 5, that kind of rap. I just can't stand rap where it sounds like they have no life because they rap about, "Oh I got B*$^%$, I am a F(%*&$ pimp, I got many *&s. I get sick of that rap so much, I cannot even believe that crap even sells. Not big fan of reggaeton either, I do like reggae tho.:smileyhappy: :robothappy:

This used to be Miami (of Ohio) University's radio station and they
moved it to Cincinnati and made it internet only.  Great station
if you want to check out some new music.

I love some good ol' guitar rock and roll like Stellastar, The Vines,
The Thrills, Franz Ferdinand.  I enjoy a singer/songwriter every
once in a while (Matt Nathanson, John Mayer before his death by
commercialization).  Good old jazz like Benny Goodman, Louie
Armstrong, the Duke, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, etc...  Classic
rock is always good.  "Classic rap" too, how can you not like
Flava Flav and his "Yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaah  boooyyyeeeeee!"

I'm into Rock (classic and punk) I like bands like

Green Day      REM

Snow Patrol    RHCP

Cold Play         Oasis

Keane               Stereophonics

My m8's band Stunned Bunnies (punk)

I don't like rap unless it's funny eg. laughing @ rappers or about stuff rap isn't about (my friend wrote a rap about a church sailing holiday - slow beat - nasal voice - hilarious)

I listen to pretty much everything - metal, alt rock, industrial, techno, classical, punk, etc. As Woreku said,

Woreku wrote:

My current faves are:

Nine Inch Nails

KMFDM

A Perfect Circle/Tool

Aphex Twin

Prodigy

Pink Floyd

Rob Dougan

Depeche Mode

Mindless Self Indulgence

Apocalyptica

KoRn

Sum 41

The Kovenant

Limp Bizkit

Children of Bodom

Juno Reactor

PPK

Machinae Supremacy

John Williams

Don Davis

And then all of the soundtrack bands - Marilyn Manson, RATM, Rammstein, Deftones, Rob Zombie, Team Sleep, etc.

If you like classical/game music at all, you have to hear the theme song for Elder Scrolls III - Morrowind. That one is addictive SMILEY

I'm into almost anything... except a lot of rap and almost all country.

I'll just throw out some names rather than trying to break things down into genres and what-not...

David Bowie
Rush
The White Stripes
Breaking Benjamin
Jean-Michel Jarre
Mike Oldfield
Vangelis
Kitaro
Tangerine Dream
Yes
Vanessa Carlton
Tori Amos
Peter Gabriel
Stone Temple Pilots
Moist

... and that's all I can think of at the moment outside of various game soundtracks, movie soundtracks, and other assorted stuff.
