Could someone explain why neither desperation nor mobius code can be used whilst block tactics is on? I imagine this applies to pills too.....Never noticed this for Mobius Code, but pills and boosters cannot be activated when in Block. In what order are clothing and ability buffs applied? Ie VD. If I am wearing the clothes with extra VD on them it increases not only my natural, but the amount from hyper deflect.... If I change clothing after I put HD on then I seem not to get the bonus... " /> Would this apply to buffs too? Like KFGM with acc clothing etc? Bonuses and %'s only work if they influence something. So If you wear Ballistic Defense Clothing with %, it will only be effective if you have Hyper-Dodge on. oh, could I get a list of people who expect me to interfere in 1v1's? In general I don't and people are shouting at me. Am I the only one who has troubles with clicking specials and them not being 'queued'? I have had to start just spamming the move I want next. Also, why when moves miss are the animations still playing? Most confusing.Yah, sometimes I have to click a few times just to make sure it works. The miss animation is probably the most annoying Interlock bug. It wasn't always like this, I am not sure when it cropped up, but it must have been a few Updates ago. I wouldn't mind if it happened maybe once and awhile, but it happens EVERY time. I was dueling last night and it lasted 5 minutes longer then it should cause all of our misses still played the animation anyway. Very annoying and this needs to be fixed no next update, but NOW with a Hotfix. Does your withdrawl roll work of the tactics speed etc...? In other words if I have speed tactics am I more likely to roll out than in power/block.I'm not sure it matters. I either switch to Grab or Block anyway so I have more defense while trying to roll out. Specials Vs. block :- I have come to the conclusion that this is odd. As it was explained to me special VS Special is attack roll vs attack. If this applies to normals (and for reasons I cannot fathom block tactics still rolls an attack...) then blocking against specials is worthless. It certainly seems to be.I find it helps. Switching tactics. I have discovered that instead of setting the damage at the same time as the hit roll is done, there is a huge gap. So when I did a special in speed and switched back to block it did 1pt of damage. This also appears to work for switching to power..... so I can hit with extra accuracy and do extra damage. Completely negating the point of the tactical differences.... this seems incredibley stupid. Is it an accident and no fix is planned? Or was the entire +acc -dam tactic thing broken on purpose?http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300016924 WHY IS THERE SO LITTLE HOTBAR /weep There is all this 19" widescreen and only 20 usable slots... 5 of these are taken up by tactics and roll out ffs... having buffs and pills and so on on a side hotbar would be so useful.... *hint*I don't have a problem with 20. If you really need an extra 10, you can always quickly move to an above/below hotbar. I find I can usually have an effective hotbar with 20 slots and sometimes some extra spots filled in the below hotbar if need be. I remember after CR1 the statements that everyone would look different because clothing buffs would diminish in impact.. just noticed a lot of folks in the same gear since I came back.. shame. Especially when it looks awful. :pYeah, a lot of the good buffed clothing are just the same models, but it still is better than CR1. There have been some new clothing that offers variety like the Commando gear, Patcher's Headgear, Area K, etc. Rarebit or 9mmfu did mention that they would like to have Coders create any type of color for clothing they like while coding, but they said it's a major pain and probably would take awhile to do.

But desperation especially should work in block..... I know it to be true, but if it isn't a mistake it darned well should be.Ntrails wrote:In what order are clothing and ability buffs applied? If I change clothing after I put HD on then I seem not to get the bonus... Buffs do not dynamically update. That means if you change clothes or abilities you must reactivate all your buffs to get the proper % influences out of them. It has always been like this in CR 2.Well it seems I shall have to write a macro for equipping clothes and then buffing... or at least I would if I didn't get horrible macro lag. Again, mistake surely? No intention of making it work sensibley?Ntrails wrote: Would this apply to buffs too? Like KFGM with acc clothing etc? Yes, all buffs that appear under your hotbar.Like I said..... bugged and flawed.Ntrails wrote: Am I the only one who has troubles with clicking specials and them not being 'queued'? Animations playing when moves miss is a throwback of a bug fix a few updates ago. There used to be a bug that meant special attacks were hitting when they were not supposed to, the bug was fixed, sort of. Now the moves miss as they should but often the animation plays anyway. Now this is a message to all the people who moan about it...THE ANIMATIONS PLAYING IS NOT AFFECTING YOUR PVP SKILLZ. YOU ARE NO WORSE OFF SEEING A BUGGED ANIMATION FOR A SPECIAL ATTACK THAN YOU ARE SEEING A REGULAR MISS/MISS ROUND. BOTH LAST FOR THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME. DUELS ARE NOT LASTING LONGER AS A RESULT OF ANIMATION BUGS CAUSE ALL COMBAT ROUNDS ARE 4 SECONDS LONG REGARDLESS OF WHAT ANIMATION OCCURRED. GET OVER IT. I would not dream of claiming I have PvP skillz! This is a bug then, is all I wanted to know. As for having to spam specials to get them to lock.... this results in the same special 2 times in a row on occasion and people shouting 'sploitz' at me.... genius. At least in cr1 we knew when a move was queued and then locked. Ntrails wrote: Does your withdrawl roll work of the tactics speed etc...? In other words if I have speed tactics am I more likely to roll out than in power/block. Yes, the accuracy modifier affects your Contested Withdraw roll, thus don't use block when trying to roll out. Ermm.... how ridiculous. Why would someone want to block and roll out at the same time........ OK, so I have to use grab, I can change my behaviour to suit a system, but it makes no sense to me - contested withdraw should have NOTHING to do with what attack tactic you are using....Ntrails wrote: Specials Vs. block :- I have come to the conclusion that this is odd. It certainly seems to be.No, special vs regular is Special Accuracy vs Regular Defense. If the special hits then that's the round. If the special misses then it goes onto Regular Accuracy vs Defense of person who used special. The only time it is accuracy vs Accuracy is when it is a special vs special round. I guess it is just the +ct of spcials that means I rarely block em, fair enough!Ntrails wrote: Switching tactics. Well know, link already provided by RemagDiv. What a joke. Seriously. How old is that thread and no fix.... *le sigh*Ntrails wrote: WHY IS THERE SO LITTLE HOTBAR /weep There is all this 19" widescreen and only 20 usable slots... 5 of these are taken up by tactics and roll out ffs... having buffs and pills and so on on a side hotbar would be so useful.... *hint* Open up your inventory and use that for any consumables you need. You don't need things like Hyper Speed, Title Buffs, Determination, Hyper Deflect or Evade Shield on your hotbar as you generally only activate them once and/or don't need access to them very often. Place them on a hotbar above or below the 2 you normally use.Well, 5 tactics, evade shield (I have to reapply as soon as it is broken - often in the middle of a fight, I don't wish to be switching bars around), desperation, MA prowess, hyper jump (accurate HJ is often vital), mobius code, and that is my top bar. On the bottom bar I have not space for all my various ma specials including state specials. Perhaps a better player would not have all specials up, only a select few.... This leaves no room for the deflects that I nmight wish to switch mid fight, the +resistance buffs, serene calm... any of it... This gets significantly worse as hacker. Just offensive dmg spells and UA, Overclock, range booster take up 1 bar.... no space for the 8-9 decuffs, roots, pacifies...Maybe it is just me, but I do believe it to be so. Why compromise on the abils you can see? When another hotbar optionally could not be too hard to pop in...Ntrails wrote: I remember after CR1 the statements that everyone would look different because clothing buffs would diminish in impact.. just noticed a lot of folks in the same gear since I came back.. shame. Especially when it looks awful. :p If they all look the same then you can quickly figure out what clothes they favour, and hence, their resistances. Change to the tree they have the lowest resistance against meh, I am months away from recognizing clothes by look, and see little chance of changing tree just for that. I wish to learn to be good at MA. This seems to involve taking advantage of all the inherent bugs I can find.... not exactly how I would like to do it. Put it this way, I think making those changes to clothing coding would have been smart. Personally, I do not think the cat suit thing I have to walk around in looks good, but it is signifcantly the best there is. Bugger! I looked some much better in emmas vengeance, trousers and direwolf.New one: did IS regen get borked? I tried an old patcher hybrid thing and ran out very quickly with any auras running. I guess I am just disappointed. I expect too much no doubt. The buggered animations bug me a lot less than not being able to roll out whilst using block tactics... a bug is one thing, something intentional but absurd is another..... PS. Does this mean that the amount healed by Mobius is dependant on tactic? Will heal more on poweR?
