Im still getting shot up to hell.   With 181pts of Ballistic Damage Resistance level 48's in Creston do about 90 dmg per shot.  Fighting a mob 1 on 1 in interlock with 3 or 4 others firing at me im lucky if I can finish the fight without losing more than half my health.  I have to fight 1 at a time and then hyperjump away to regain my health.

Im also losing way too many rolls when using specials against mobs 20 levels below me.  Rolls seem so random.  There is absolutely no way to know if your attack is going to land or not.  How are we suppose to queue our attacks and use strategy when are attacks are so random?  Combat is extremely boring and frustrating.  I feel like I have no control over anything thats going on.

Yes, groups are still too tough.

I can almost beat a group of high grays now, but I quickly lose to a group of low greens.

I haven't done a mission yet, but that's going to be the key since when you select an "Easy" mission, the opponents are generally only one level below you (i.e., high blue) and often in groups of two or three.

So as it stands right now, soloing a mission would be impossible even on the Easy setting.

But, I'll be testing more to get more concrete data.

I agree completely.  Right now the MOBS are extremely difficult in groups.  Too difficult really.  The "fight, hyperjump, heal, rinse, repeat" strategy is the only way to survive and that's just not fun.

i'd heard that they rebalanced so things were easier at the low end and harder at the high end and i guess i can verify that on the low end. my L6 took out 3 yellow con bells at the same time \m/ admittedly she had to take a health pill and almost died. but it was pretty coo. i found that i was getting hit all the time but the damage was very small. i like that interlock combat in general is much faster paced.

Wow I don't know what mobs you were facing but my experience couldn't be more opposite. I run around the whole park in Creston and pull all the mobs that I can. I only take 20-25 damage per hit.

My Ballistic Resistance was aroudn 130 at that time and has since gone up to 165+ and now I pull a dozen mobs in the museum (level 50) and with health pills can take them all on.

FAAAAR to easy.

Although I do agree with you on one thing...the random rolls. I hate it, i want more control over who hits me and who I hit. I understand they want this to be modeled after a damage system like so many other MMOs...it's proven and effective. However we here at MxO set ourselves apart by NOT being hit and hitting others. That is what makes you more powerful...not how much damage you can take (in the current system). The more I play CR 2.0 the more I love it..but I don't like fighting a spawn of level 38's and missing one outa 6 times. Seriously THAT needs to be fixed.

Give us more certainty when fighting much lower levels. If we are that good we shouldn't be missing. I miss on my specials enough to get frustrated.
