I'm worried about them nerfing all my buffed items that took me many months to accumulate. I feel I have the perfect balance now, and still occasionally run across an item that enhances one of my loadouts once and a while. It seems to me there are say, 35 possible buffs an item can give in any variation. With the new CR2, it seems like that number of possible buffs have been dropped to around 5. Sorry, but my favorite flavor isn't vanilla. Variety and choice is what makes this game great in the first place. I don't see what a code launcher has to do with thrown resistance. I thought it had something to do with launching code. Also, I have a lowbie alt toon with a +15 point super jump beret. That plus beta hyperjump really helps her navigate Richland with less of a chance of getting pwned by furies, etc. I don't see why that beret needs to be nerfed. I mean, talk about petty. There are many other examples I can give, but you get the idea.
Please consider more possibilities when it comes to buffs than the five or so that I've seen. Now's the time to be creative! Rarebit you have a lot on your plate and I appreciate it. Maybe the easiest thing to do would be to retain some of the current buffs, and for the items that grant ability bonuses give them the attendent benefits that the increased abilitiy (abilities) would have given anyways.
