What does the 'Confuse' state do?

Heya peeps,

I'm using the Suicidal Butterfly ability from the Kung-Fu tree, and
this special attack 'confuses' your enemy. I'm wondering now what that
'Confuse' state does to your enemy. Does it reduce your MCT? Your
Toughness? Your VR? Any ideas anyone?

(Don't confuse the powerless state from Suicidal Butterfly with the
'Confuse' state. The 'Confuse' state does not render you powerless. SMILEY

)

**Symmetric**

The Confuse state makes the affected player randomly choose from one of
their four basic tactics.

Thats always good to know then.

I couldn't find out what it did, then assumed it was something similar to enraged because in the manual it says:

"If you are confused, enrages, stunned, held, paralyzed or prone, that will prevent you from withdrawing from combat."

I suppose randomly choosing one of your opponants attacks does make more sense though. SMILEY

You sure about that? Cause when you confuse someone with Suicidal
Butterfly this move also renders someone powerless AND confuses him.
The powerless state is from the ability not from the state 'Confuse'.
You using Suicidal Butterfly to confuse your enemy? Or another ability?

Confuse prevents ability use and roll out. Not sure if it prevents/stops change of the 4 normal attacks.

suicidal butterfly sometimes causes powerless (40% i think) so yes im sure. also cartwheel escape aslo causes confuse. so if your multifighting in pvp and someone comes in and bulldogs you then cartwheels out you will be confused in interlock and you cant use specials

from what i've seen confuse causes enraged, powerless, and lowers CT.
