You obviously don't like it so you have to be a complete girl about it and make out like i'm really bothered that there getting involved in our events, THAT IS NOT THE CASE! SO READ WHAT I SAY PROPERLY!, my point was that i would like to see your faces MORE OFTEN on vector instead of just when events happen. CAN I MAKE MYSELF ANY MORE CLEAR! Just for the record. I wouldn't cry about anything ingame, or moan about anything, because this isn't me having a good old whine, this is just generally a thread about basically the fact that it would be nice to see more of the players that just pop on for events, no offence given out because i get on with everyone i encounter in the matrix, well almost everyone, Next time read in more depth and detail in what i actually say instead of causing yourself the humliation of a post like that, Do you really think that makes you cool? and that was a retorical question so you don't need to anwser it

The fact of the matter is, we shouldn't have to have characters on all servers with alts in all orgs in order to have a chance at attending an event.  If you have the time and patience to play the game to that extent, more power to you.  A lot of us prefer to follow the story from one character on one server, for many reasons.  Are we just S.O.L.?

The issue is with players who mainly play Syntax and Recursion getting wind of Vector events before the main Vector players do, because all the Vector liaisons are are from those servers.

Sure, we all have the right to attend events on other servers.  Nobody is breaking the rules by doing so.  But when certain players on Vector, who are known alts from other servers, are given advanced notice of events over those players who play mainly if not solely on Vector, it's going to ruffle a few feathers.  In all actuality, this applies to all servers.  I'm sure there are some Recursion and Syntax players who wouldn't appreciate alts from Vector coming over and stealing the show on their servers.

What can be done about it?  Not a lot, obviously.  Unless we want to go back to the "one character per server" model that the game started out in.  I'm probably the only one who would be happy about that.

Any player on vector (no matter their alt) has every right to attend events but the distribution of event knowledge and notice given for events has to be fair and equal - it doesnt appear to be that way atm.

Zion really suffer most with events, EPN is way too similar on every important level, an epn event is always directly at the expense of Zion. EPN and Cyp have continued to exist beyond their design diluting the story to no positive effect - at least the cyp event characters have some charisma though.

One character per server is exactly how a story driven mmo should operate, we lost far more than we gained from that merge.

Alrighty, lets see. KD, you might have made this thread in some kind of positive manor or at least hoped it would be, but at the end of the day, that was dumb because threads like this always turn into flaming and drama.

People talk about Vector being dead, people talk about the game being dead. Ok, if you say so but I mean which way would you like it to be? Because at the end of the day, we're more likely to be able to pick up players from other servers on a permanent basis rather than new players all together and thats just how the *game* is. So, trashing people from another server for being "Syntax fags" or whatever is totally pointless from the perspective of attracting people to come and play here. We're in a situation where we can't sit here and turn away players who level here from other servers, because we *don't* have the influx of players we used to. The game is no longer in that kind of bill of health.

Does it *CENSORED* me off if someone who logs in no more than 4 hours a week at best comes to my event? No. I can't tell them what to do, so why should I bother. Does it *CENSORED* me off that they win something at my orgs event and don't log onto use it? (IE DrBadTouch winning an FM-1500) Well, yeah to an extent it does, or at least it did, but at the end of the day I'm not really interested in kicking up a fuss about it because there's no point. It doesn't achieve anything. Calling people out for being from another server and insulting them will probably only make them do the same thing: Log on for the event, then log out. They're not going to stay where they're not welcome, are they? They'll jump in, go to the event, watch people stew because people react that way and log out. No skin off their nose, is it?

I spend more time on Vector than I do on any other server, considerably more, why? Because I love it. It's my home and PvP 24/7 is what it's all about for me. However, if you don't see someone online that doesn't mean they're on another server. People don't spend their life on this game. (I guess I can't speak for everyone) Infact if I log onto another server it's because an event is going on. :O Maybe one of the "carebears" will *CENSORED* me out. I doubt it. Which, in a way might explain why people migrate over there permanently (a few have done, not me though) because they maybe are made to feel more welcome? I don't know.

Your completely right when you say that but again i think maybe i worded it a bit wrongly so i left my self open for a bit of drama tbh. Maybe i should have kept it to myself but your definatly right in saying i can't tell people what to do. You guys and girls pay to play the game so naturally you can do whatever you please(to an extent ofcourse) infact i have actually looked at the whole picture and reviewed people's opinons and in actual fact how does anyone know what happens once they log off, who knows, they may go back to syntax or recursion but maybe there only logging on for events in general. I appolgise for this thread i think it has brought a different message across than intended.

No this game is far from dead which i said in another post, there are new 50s poping up all the time believe it or not, so again this is not a thread about saying "we don't have  enough players as it is" kind of thing at all. All i'm saying is, if you do have a 50 on Vector pop on a bit more if you can, its nice to see new faces and a different range of pvp and knowledge. Obviously some people work a lot or have a lot of college or school work or whatever it maybe so they can only log on for the most important of times such as events. So don't get me wrong i respect all kinds of reasons of why this may seem to occur, i can't force you, i was just simply asking. People like OfficerPark for example i have seen on for pvp lately also which has been nice.
