I know this most likely been asked a million times but here it goes:

I have played in beta but have not gotten the game till now and as I read the boards I see a lot of things have changed.  My question is about two builds and to be more to a point, a ranged attack weapons  mixed with some stalth abilities (leaning toward handguns) and 2nd build a hacker.

It used to be that for ranged attacks FOCUS was the primary stat with PRECISSION being secondary, is this still the case?

2nd question as a hacker do I want REASON as primary stat or what?

Thanks for any help

I suppose you're talking about the attribute points? SMILEY

Yeah, basically, you're right.

Focus is mainly for gun and stealth attacks, Perception for Martial Arts and Reason for hackers and Coders (except Code Shapers, where the proxies might benefit from other attributes, like Aikido Simulacra from Perception).

If you want a detailed explanation of what the attributes do exactly, go to mxovault.com and check the attribute guides there. I hope it helps you.

I wouldn't worry about reason, because its primary function is viral transmission.  At lower levels you can use clothing to buff that past the max and at 50 you can hit the max fairly easy without any buffed clothing.

Belief affects a number of things including Combat Toughness, which is essential for an Martial Artist in my opinion.

don't put any into reason...I'd stick with focus and belief for those two builds. But if you  plan on going MA at all then you have to think about perception too.
