i realize the devs are way over the head. or so some people like to
think. Im willing to test things out for them no charge. But maybe give
me my own ad space in the matrix?

Anyways please email spawk online. and i will test whatever you want. No questions asked.

Everyone who plays the game already "tests" it "for free". Well actually, we all pay to test it. No one can be told exactly what to test for, especially not on the live servers as that's not the way it works. If you find a bug in the game, you simply type /bug and then fill out a bug report. You need to be as concise as you can be. And having seen the way you post on the forums, I'm not so sure you'd be of much help in testing anyhow. As for getting ad-space for basically playing the game? Sorry but you'll find that the answer to that is pretty much not yet, and not like that.

Now when the QA test server is reopened, you can download the files, set it up and test how the new combat revision works. But keep in mind that anyone and everyone with an active account can do the same. It's not a "special" task and as such cannot be bartered for. You'll just be a normal player getting nothing but the chance to play a game that is most likely not stable - just like everyone else jacking in over there. No rewards will be given apart from the satisfaction of helping to make the game better.

What Chuui said.

You are actually expected to test for bugs, nevermind being 'generous' and offering to do it for free. :smileyindifferent:

So you know how to program a full blown MMORPG, how everything works, what all has to happen to get things working.....if you do then great....but if you don't making comments like "i realize the devs are way over the head" makes you look like the smart one. If you have a bug or something ingame use the /bug to report it and be happy about the work that you did.

Actually the dumbest thing posted on the forums was the thread created for the sole purpose of bashing oblivion-knight. Sometimes a few people lose their minds over ONE....TINY....SPAMMER.
