Okay, I have a main character, Villemar, but I have a main alt who is female.  I RP that she is Villemar's sister; she has the same last name, same skin tone, same hair color, etc.  I know others RP siblings as well.

So I was thinking, they grew up together as siblings as bluepills.  What about when they come to the real?  I'd like to have a DNA test done to see if they are actually biological siblings.  If they are, then that would mean that the bonds of family are stronger than Machine control.

The "choice" to leave the Matrix is not bound to DNA, otherwise the Machines would long have altered it so that 100% are compatible.

No, what I'm asking is if your bluepill sister at some point takes the red pill, and you meet her in the Real, are you still brother and sister?  Or if I give my bluepill dad the red pill and he comes out into the real and we do a paternity test, will it come out positive?

Mhm... that depends on how you define your family values. If you say that you have no sister because the DNA test is negative, I belief you are wrong in some sense. Bonds of kin are developed over time, experience. Although to know that others are of the "same flesh" is reassuring.

I'd say it all rests within the methode of creating new humans developed by the Machines. I belief they do create sisters and brothers because any attribute taken over from the "Real" is taken into the Matrix, the DNA too. I don't belief that they change the DNA of oneself if you're in the Matrix only to fool DNA tests.

I think this depends upon how detailed the machines have been with their genetic engineering.  Seeing as that they had the entirety of the original human race to work with, they have a pretty decent template of DNA to mess around with.  I think it is entirely possible for them to create families of people (probably put in the same pod sections) for no other reason than to make the simulation itself more believable on a subconscious level.  If they chose to go a different route and simply alter your RSI's appearance/mannerisms then they could make families infinitely, and yea when you got the redpill you would cease to resemble your family physically, but the emotional bonds would still be there I would think.

SolidRevolver and SnipersEnd are brother and sister, I have never though about it this way though

I think Sniper and Solid have never thought about it like that either, they are brother and sister they were brought up after being born from the same parents and they have lived their life together and nothing can change it.
