Yes, I am not sure how the skybox thing is done (Separate entity is what I'm hoping). I don't need the rest of all of the options as I am very sure that would slow down my computer (Rendering all the buildings for miles and miles).
I think this thread speeks for itself: Monolith are geniouses

Hi Sykin!
No, when you take the lowest file (x1.00+), it will not reduce your PC performance. This file has the same distances values like the original "options.cfg" file, it has only 4 or 5 new commands lines, which make the graphic better and this new (colored/detailed) 'skyline' setting. I would say, you can even take the (x1.25) version.
** btw:
Tell me, if I should send you the file packages. Send me a PM or write a new message here.
bye

Hi!
The versions (x2.00) and (x4.00) are only for photography, making movies or for all other (not-mission/not-fighting) activities. The versions (x1.00+), (x1.25) and (x1.50) you can use for missions or fighting very well. You wrote you have a new PC with 4GB RAM and 256MB video, with this power you can run the file (x1.00+), (x1.25) and (x1.50) for missions or fighting activities without any problems and the bigger versions for all other activities. And don't forget, all versions have the absolute same graphic quality, the lil difference is only in distances, how far you can see. I have only 1GB RAM and 256MB video, I run the file "x1.25" for the missions.
Here are a couple of shots from today with the 1.5 settings: (see if you can figure out who the guest star is )
