It lasted a pretty good while. I wasn't looking at time but I'd guess around 45 mins or so, maybe give or take 10.
Grats to Grod, but you should have waited like 10 more seconds for me to watch him die!
It was a fun event, and I got a few hits on him and il'd him. I still don't understand those bonfires though.

Well done Grod and Co, the fact anyone could do anything, let alone get the kill with all the instability/lag is amazing in itself!

Event was basically, Rarebit trying desperately to jump around to prolong the event, even spawn a lot of npcs which although were deadly, imo there were so many people there that they held the aggro and not me, then finally I think he just gave up around 25% health. When it got down to the wire though my heart was pumping! :p Logic Cannon just didn't go through fast enough, still, Grod won it so that's good enough for me.

Ballak, Zudrag, ThePigeonKing, Sneaker: leaving the flaming to Smith, or I'll have to lock this thread until the mods can hand out spankings.

'k On another note, is this how you wanted the Smith event today to go? Or are you planning on changing it up on Vector?

His health regen seemed right for this event, I was actually pleased to see when I jumped down to attack him that he had regenerated all his health again. I didn't get a chance to look at his health to see if it was any higher or not.
The hype- jumping wasn't terribly hard to keep up with either, until I was shot in the face by Smith Virus. I and a few others stayed on him fairly well.
The Smithling spam, though, I don't think was quite high enough. It was better towards the end, but a small handful of Smithlings didn't do a whole lot against an entire server of players.
And way to go picking the largest region server.
I can't think of anything else to add, but I enjoyed it much more than the Recursion event.
Tomorrow, VECTOR PLAYERS, VECTOR LAST HITS?

Or make him level 255 and make it insanely tough. Unfortunately, unless it lasts like one and a half hours plus, I'm not gonna make it to this one, just like all the previous ones.
Hmm...maybe you could load up meatwad/corruption pulse and knock people back a few times.
edit: My subs out for awhile starting sometime tomorrow, so we'll see if I can even make it in. It'd be a nice send-off.

I don't think that's on Smith's resume of skills.
