It was one of the very few times I as able to attend an event without having to have a few hours sleep beforehand because previously they started at around 2am UK time. So it was nice to be able to attend at 10pm this time around.

Time is always going to prevent some people from attending, so I would add my support in the call for start times to be different per event (I.E one month the meetings are at 2pm MCT the next month they're at 4pm MCT etc..) just so that some people aren't continually missing out due to work/school etc. I also realise that despite the change in times and even changing the times like this won't help our friends on the other side of the globe. I don't think that there is a lot we can do about that unfortunately.

I know most of the people that were at the Zion meeting and only 1 was from the UK and he went AFK to eat some fried chicken and then logged off midway through the meeting.

Don't claim something like that unless you know. I was there, as were a couple of faction mates from the UK and stayed for the entire meeting. 10pm-12pm isnt that taxing.

Calm down you stupid Euros!!*

(*Hehe you see what I did there?  Liquid was taken, hilarity ensued, and good times were had by all.)

Seriously I meant to say this upthread, but when I suggested mixing it up a little I meant both ways, both later and earlier.  Why not 10AM PST once in a while?

Oddly enough, that time may actually work for me too as I'd be able to attend before I go to work if I'm working the night shift hehe

But overall I do agree that the time should rotate around just as the server does.

K.. not a mech, not at the meeting, didnt try... but...

First off to at least one person out there,,, OMG! open a dictionary! ya know, like a real dictionary.. ever seen one? Like a real Oxford Unabbridged ? (see right there? Unnabridged, I can almost guarantee you that word isnt used yet as a handle. You could even RP some meaning for it) You could even go to an online dictionary, if the paper ones are to heavy. GEEZUS! The English language has like a gazillion f'n words. Find one thats obscure and use it as a name. Im sorry, but this whole, "I sploited the meeting, then showed up with an alt that proves I'm illiterate and got ignored" Flame thread is not gaining you any sympathy. get over it.

K secondly, to all the people who posted "gah it was boring and we didnt learn anything" after Rare already posted an explanation that he was LOOKING to get peoples questions and interests. Well, that says it right there... now that he knows your questions and Ideas, we will start to see some things on the next chapter.

Honestly, the Zion meeting felt the same way... but after a while I could tell Rare was fishing for OUR ideas, and that at least is an interesting change. I still like the Old LE's, but i respect what hes trying to do.

And finally <.<, k I hope Rare, that you can kinda deal with the alt names... obviously its convenient to put a psilody alt on a server with the L replaced with an I. A LOT of people are going to do that.

Please do not insult my intelligence, I cannot help that I have dislexia and spelling like a pro does not come naturaly.

Also: *I'm *isn't *unabridged *that's

I'd reccomend the British English Dictionary if you are using Firefox.

lol *smacks forehead* well yeah, good point about my spelling.

However, my point is that there are plenty of words. Somewhere in there I thought I saw excuses about how hard it is to generate a handle. For that matter, using it mispelled slightly is an even better way to insure that the handle isn't being used already. Most Readers would not notice so quickly my mistake. so...

sympathy meter still not rising...

That might have been from other people, never said that was my exscuse for such a ab-normal handle. Mine was that it had aready been made for filming (where a handle means nothing) and saw no reason to go through the process and make another one.

I understood you created it for the meeting and were going to delete it thereafter. You said yourself:

"Considering the characters are getting deleted after the meetings (as I am limited on alt spaces) there is no need for me them to be 'creative' with them."

If anything, it goes to show that rules need to be pre-established and not created during the process.

We saw the rules of level 5 and Machine reputation.

There was nothing about having an intelligible handle, and to be honest, I can type "dkfghlmngdfrs" (or whatever it is) with very little trouble. I just have to look at the name. It's like typing out a credit card number - you don't know the digits by heart, but you are capable of typing them.

If anything, Rarebit should've ported him in, and then, following the meeting, said that he would no longer bring in weirdly named people.

But I do wonder if it would be the same case if it were a level 50 machinist named dkghlmngdfrs (see? I just typed it)?

The character was created for filming during halloween, kept for possible re-shoots for a couple of weeks, once the meetings were announced the character was kept for the meeting, now the meeting has ended the character has now been deleted.
