Whenever a finishing animation goes off, you'll die regardless of any health regeneration in that time period. An example would be if I were engaged in PvP and Sniped and interlocked by a MA. The system would dictate that the MA's next move surpasses my current HP, but my friend strolls over and heals me for 700 health. Because of way that things are taken into account, the MA would kill me even if I had 800 or so health left because the system says "Nope, I calculated last round that the MA would have a finishing animation so that means that your health = 0".

Fix please.

The number of times I have been accused of exploiting when that happens...

Mhm, it is worse when your fighting a load of trauma surgeons.. they heal the person your doing the finishing animation too, and all that health the surgeons do (800+) makes it look very suspicious on your part, lol!

That's extreme case scenario though!

I kinda like it that way, it's very helpful against heals and health pill users.

I hate being killed in the middle of taking the pill that would save my life...

It's a positive and negative at the same time. . .

Perhaps if it were removed to save lives, something could be added to take them?

Show some love for the healers, we're part of the world, too, and eventually you owe your life to one of us.  I think it's pretty fair the way it is now, especially because the damage is inflicted when the move hits, not when the animation plays.  Damage Over Time (DOT or DPS, Damage Per Second) can seem to cause an unfair death sometimes too, but it's a great part of a dynamic combat system.  If anything, healing needs a little boost after all AOE healing was nerfed.  (Limiting it to team means teams can't fan out, so no one uses it any more even though it has to be loaded for those trees.)  Does Mobius Code or Patcher self-heal in time or are you just as dead with them?

No Mobius, No Pills, No nothing. Even if you have enough time to pop a pill and get healed in between, it doesn't matter.

Yeah, this is annoying.
Interlock-specials should do damage after the round is over, like normal moves in IL and timed specials out of IL.

Any "fix" applied in this direction would encourage more people to use the Patcher Tree and maybe bring back some of those who left Team Patcher when they nerfed AOE heals.  Mom always wanted you to be a Doctor, didn't she?

I sincerely doubt that since it's little more than a pest since most kills are done by a special and most healers end up being Sniped outside of internet.

The reason it probably won't be fixed is because the way the IL system is coded, when you do a finishing move in IL the other person is supposed to die. No matter what, once that animation plays the damage is calculated onto your health making it zero, even if on your screen is looks like you have 700 health remaining, when in turn, the server is reading that you're dead.

I personally don't mind it, mostly because people who get heals in pvp or use pills that die from that complain, and I really don't like people who need heals to win. :O (If I'm getting heals though, it's okay, because I'm just a double-standard like that. SMILEY!)

Agreed; not expecting any changes, just always lookin' for the love for the healers.
