Any "fix" applied in this direction would encourage more people to use the Patcher Tree and maybe bring back some of those who left Team Patcher when they nerfed AOE heals. Mom always wanted you to be a Doctor, didn't she?
The reason it probably won't be fixed is because the way the IL system is coded, when you do a finishing move in IL the other person is supposed to die. No matter what, once that animation plays the damage is calculated onto your health making it zero, even if on your screen is looks like you have 700 health remaining, when in turn, the server is reading that you're dead.
I personally don't mind it, mostly because people who get heals in pvp or use pills that die from that complain, and I really don't like people who need heals to win. :O (If I'm getting heals though, it's okay, because I'm just a double-standard like that. !)
