Hanzyl, not missing anything. The Stun was an example on what would happen if
another part of the game were changed as drastically as the coder changes. Also
I listed Stun purposefully because you are a Hacker/Coder as you signature says.
I also have my enhanced items in a spreadsheet with over 300, but in addition I
took the time to put in all my normal items and Shielded and buffed items because
I know that I and many others want to be able to "Look Good" and buffs be damned
.
I also have all my enhanced weapons, consumables, tools etc in the spreadsheet.
These are also in the order that they appear in the Code Analyzer tool.
I was in beta before there was anything about having to decompile items and everyone
had the recipes already there. Now that was too easy and the change for getting the
recipes was a good one. The problem with this change is that it is way too much.
Half the amount I could believe in, but to limit it to 1/5 or less in the majority of cases
is a major Nerf to the coders.
I also make items for those in my faction for free with just red frags needing to be gathered.
I also participate in the weekly Children of the Code parties on Method and now
Recursion where we would code anything under level 20 for $i 5000 or less to benefit
any new players. The new coding limits will cause the prices to go way up and while this
could benefit the coders, it will definitely hit anyone else a bit hard. Now why did I use the
words "Could benefit" ? I think many of the people may just create their own coders so they
don't have to worry about the higher prices and that will take away business from the
previous coders.
Sorry Hanzyl, but I was not missing any point, I do think the YOU'RE missing my point.
*Sorry I could not resist a slight comment on you using "your" wrong
