SMG's are currently used in a fashion that really invalidates the damage rating, because people want a cheap state, and not just mosquito bite ticks of damage. It's always been a giant point of annoyance to me that the Gun buffs are so watered down that the type of gun for the most part really doesn't matter with a few exceptions. The Gunman tree is plagued with all sorts of bugs, so it would make sense to me if Guns had significant effects depending on the the type so that you could diversify your fighting style. At this point, it's the only thing that I can really think of that would really make the tree stand out. It would be like a complete class revolution.Other than that, the Blue Shift, while given appropriate defense ratings, should have its use timer extended to at least 20 seconds and the reuse timer upped to a few minutes. It should be usable in interlock as well, seeing how that's the only time when people are going to want to use it. Lets say that you're getting attacked by a Hacker, with an impending Sniper Shot. That would be the perfect time to use it, assuming that you're in interlock and can't just move away from the Sniper. The first thing that people try to do when outnumbering you is to get you in interlock so that you can't run away. What's the point of using the item if you're out of interlock, if you can just run and not waste it? If someone infects you with a powerless, it's useless anyway so it seems like another botched attempt at content that really could've been extremely useful. Here's to hoping for decent clothing at least.Do we know yet if the blue shift is a reusable item or a consumable?DI was under the impression that it was a consumable at first, but I saw the "requires Awakened" on it later on. Even still, use in interlock is sort of mandatory.
