We managed to get our hands on some more of the strange codes the intruder's been leaving behind. Still can't read them, but it's the only solid info we have right now, so we'll just have to keep trying.

I'd like to thank everyone who gave us a hand, and especially Neoteny, Cervacius, Premier, and Voltio, who came up with the stuff Fingers was after.

Hmm, well, I hope we can come up with something from the analysis of the data fragments... In the mean time, I guess I'll have to work on gettin' another pair of goggles. Even though, as the saying goes, they do nothing.

Found one of those data fragments for myself at least...

Don't get your hopes up....

Hopefully next time the Machinists have an operation we'll be able to get some hard information on the subject rather than jumping the gun and trying to engage it in combat.

Wasn't a bad event at all, 'decent' dialogue though fingers was a little less then 'animated'.

The accelerator in use was pretty cool too, and the wasteland corruptors were just hilarious - there were about  at each hardline in bathory as people just kept pouring out.

((i hope you got a reward neoteny, cause parting with the goggles of all the things he asked for should at least entitle you to that much.))

((Nope, haven't gotten one as far as I'm aware of, unless something's sitting in my e-mail. EDIT: Indeed this was the case. I just logged in to find two decelerator bits in my e-mail from Niobe, thanks! I logged out pretty shortly after the event. Found an accelerator bit on one of the exile bodies, though.))

Good advice.

Actually the Machines were the ones, who engaged in combat first ... with us, killing especially lower neurokinetic Operatives. It wasn't our intention to start a fight either, since it was clear that it could drive Fingers away. Well done, Machinists, eh?
