If Heath Ledger doesn't win Best Supporting Actor, i'm gonna go on a rampage.

I'm also curious to know if he wins, but i don't want to sit through the academy awards because i only see about 3-4 movies a year and don't know what's going on

SlumDog won Best picture 7 overall Oscars  Besides Rouke not winning im Really Poed that he didnt win the oscars were much better this year i think they were overall the best since the 2004 when Return of the King won  i hope they keep this format for next year.

In ever director's face, except for Danny Boyle's, I could tell they were all thinking "I would so totally win right now if I wasn't up against that f****er who did Slumdog Millionaire."

It was a great movie, and I'm glad it won Best Picture, but did it really deserve all 7 of those Oscars?

Watched all of it and thought it was decent enough.. Hugh did a pretty good job despite all of the "omgz hes not a comedian!!1!" talk leading up to the show.  I really hadn't seen many of the nominated movies this year so I didn't have my hopes riding on anything in particular.  Great to see Heath win though, and Wall-E is a very worthy winner too.  It's too bad Wall-E didn't win for best song as it was a great song by a great artist (Peter Gabriel), but the stuff from Slumdog was pretty cool too.. and Slumdog won everything else this evening so it wasn't exactly a shock heh

Definitely have to check out Slumdog when it comes out on DVD.. so many awards and it actually looks pretty good too.

I must say I'm curious why no Watchmen footage was shown in the closing credit roll/2009 movie preview.. they certainly weren't just showing the potential Oscar winners for next year.
