PvPing anywhere else besides Mara Central is always a pleasure. To be honest, I'd like to see PvP in Downtown (preferably either creston (beware the mobs! add another element) or a "sky-scraper" fight from roof to roof, kinda) or in International in one of the less travelled to districts.

I wouldn't mind that, cept the fact Agents try to kill Zion in those zones atm.

Moving PvP is a good idea, always, but ultimately it falls back to purpose.

The best solution for pvp ingeneral is:-

1. Add a new pvp archive for lvl 50's, or improve 01 with a great purpose to farm it. (i.e new clothing loots which have a small % chance of dropping of TM).

2. Make CQ's only obtainable in archives. I always prefer archive PvP (it removes instant recon from HL's and blue rezzers/attacks).

Yep, i think thats the only sollution make CQ's only obtainable in constructs but some kind of reward system must be in place otherwise everyone will just stay at mara.

PVP in the archives is always the best.  There is little to no lag no matter how many people in there.  The only thing that sucks is we can only PVP in 01.  It would be cool to be able to go into Yuki as level 50.  Also you do not have a map in 01 so you have to create your own blip maps, know the terrain, and use good team communication to move around effectively.

We have said this long ago when the introduced the Area K jacket.  Keep giving us special loot that the Taskmaster drops in 01 and rotate them every few weeks or so.  As long as people go into the archive to farm then there is the possibility for great PvP.

My only problem with DT PvP was the lag.  Now I have not done it in a while so I am not sure if the lag is still an issue.

We could tell our guys that when we want to PvP not go to Mara and go somewhere else like Stamos or the archive and then inform the Zion zerg of our whereabouts.  We tried that before, but the Zionies would not budge from Mara.  So if we wanted to fight we had to go to Mara or not fight at all.  They would rather dance and talk trash to each other at Mara than fight anywhere else.

Many have tried this, it's a shame all have failed.

It's cool, you're pretty used to using HJ anyway so it shouldn't be too hard to avoid them.

Well, here is another area where the LESIGs could help..

Create meaningful, RP based PVP lesig events based on the current storyline

As the only place Recursion is hostile over a wide area to level 50s is Zero One,it would be fun to do it in there.

It could be in other places, of course, but people would have to be willing to flag, and stay flagged, to make in interesting.imho....

Those of you that have responded possitively I thank you for that, those like hidden who seem to think I don't want his lower lvls to fight... Dude for one thing I never said don't make them fight I just said they can't be on the list of 30 players that vote on the locations of pvp each week. You took it the wrong way man.

As for everyone else, I just like to say that this idea would work, but people need to be commited to being pretty much the only server that is together as one on a single idea. Btw, I did send Crowlos a copy of the email, I just assumed if he liked it he would send it to the rest of FH.

The only way this idea will ever work is if enough people want it to work, not for me but for everyone to have a better time. The past couple weeks I've been inviting players to random areas in the game, Metacortex, Government building's lobby, Creston heights hideout, first floor of course. Inside outside, it doesn't matter it's funner then just randomly flagging at mara c and waiting for someone to attack.

This isn't about any one org it's about everyone doing their part to make this work and make it work for as long as it takes. I'm sure that if people fight in other areas they will see it's alot better and it will breath new life into this game and into it's players.

I'm not sure how it is with everyone but for me, I know people in every org and I'm friends with most people in all orgs, I send someone in another org a tell, come pvp here and sometimes they come other times they don't, but I know enough people to get at least a real good 1 on 1 fight in another area of the game. It can work for anyone ya know, regaurdless of how some people act the thought of fighting you elsewhere is a good idea to some, if everyone does this there can be pvp fights anywhere, people just need to talk to each other and set it up rather then just flag at mara and wait randomly to be ganked.

This idea will work if people commit to it and do their best to try new things. Stick with something and don't let doubt stop you from having new and exciting pvp! Give it a shot people, do it and see the real potential that anywhere is possible and all you have to do is just try it. SMILEY

I don't want to be a damper/downer.  It's a noble idea, Mara is lame.

You want random fights to break out in random spots of the city?

>_>

<_<

Try Vector

Hope it works out for you here though.

No but seriously, good luck. The only way for pvp to move out of Mara is if someone says "Let's pvp in 01 for money." Which isn't such a bad idea, IMO. Or maybe a manhunt/hide and seek for info/items session all around the city, I dunno.

That's why I have a 50 there since it is the only server where I have PvPed in so many different places, it's just too bad that it's the least inactive of the 3 servers.

For one, to start of if you want to make pvp better, you need to lose this attitude, this clashes with everything you are saying.

He most likely only emailed very few people anyway. I'm pretty sure no one in FH got an email and we pretty much PvP whenever we're on and there's action. But then again, everytime he PvPs against us, he becomes a benchwarmer and throws a fit.
