A few months ago when I started doing Community Relations for The Matrix Online there was a thread that had a lot of discussions of things you would like to see from a Community Manager. From that thread, you now have:
  • Something new on the web site news everyday
  • Operative Profiles
  • Screenshot of the week
  • New Forum ranks for Screenshot of the week winners.
  • Ranks that update correctly
What else do you think Community Relations can do to add to your enjoyment of the community this year?

Try to keep your ideas along the line of the above items.

Prior to your good self, I would ask that the Community Manager take a genuine, and vested interest in the community over which he resides.

In simple terms - Keep doing what you're doing, Virrago.  We're better off for your efforts.

I think I'll have to second that. I'm having trouble thinking of any more web-based and/or forum enhancements.

I'm not sure if this is quite what you're looking for, but a suggestion in Development Roundtable for a PvP Leaderboard caught my eye. I'd imagine that would enhance the community, but it also requires dev time and web team time, so maybe that's not what you had in mind.

More of the same with some added pressure on the web and marketing teams >=)

Get MxO mentioned and accounted for in all areas where SOE games as a whole are mentioned or covered (press releases and game press come to mind). We need to remind these people we actually exist xD.

Oh and a test server, lol.

But no, in all seriousness, the work you've done has brought a breath of fresh air for the community; given past dissapointments and lets down you deserve some major props on turning the ship around, so /cheer for Virrago.

Yeah, as they say, just carry on as you are.  ^^

If you could give the web team a little bit of a prodding to wake them up that would be awesome beyond words but I think if you did have influence on them you would have had them tamed by now SMILEY

You have been more than wonderful to this Community, and I thank you for it. Words cannot express my gratitude for how much you do for the game, as well.

What can be improved upon? Short of bringing in more developers, a test server, or something out of your control...

How about a Producer's Letter?? We haven't had one since December or November, and Walrus promised one once every three months or so...

Yeah a test server would be nice  we know how short handed the devs are and we would love to help out as much as we can with bug testing that kinda stuff  and anything to help the devs out im sure would be apreciated

Follow the White Rabbit?

But yeah, I think the top thing on the agenda right now should be the PvP leaderboard.

PvP leaderboard would be really nice.

Having the website actually complete would be even better though.
