I've been wanting a Seraph costume for a long time, so that one's a great addition to me.  The Oracle?  Not so much.. but she could make for some cool pictures, so it's not a complete loss by any means.  I also find the choice of going with storyline characters to be a bit odd.. but then again, I'm not sure there were many non storyline characters left worth making masks of.

Commando's.
Elite Commando's.
Wire frame dude and dudette.
Unlimits, male and female.

That are 6 costumes. We get 7 each year? ... General costume, old looks, not the condom'd version. There, that's 7.

Well, we haven't seen all of the costumes for this year yet, so I'd say it's a little early to write off Halborn.  We already have Elite Commando costumes.  The Unlimits, appearance wise, are very near normal players as is, so all you'd be adding is the code eye effect, which players can get anyway.

I can definitely see The General being made available.. but he's just another story character, so that's not really any different than putting Veil, Cryptos, etc. in.

That leaves the regular commando.  Not a terrible choice for a costume, and if you scrape things together, there's the Box 2 and 3 enemies.. the section 9 commandos, the club guards we don't have yet etc.  Sure you could come up with 7 costumes we don't have yet that are actually "new" but, like I said, the consideration needs to be whether or not they are worthy additions.

Oh, and I'm also begging for Ookami to be one of the Mero masks.  *pleads in Rarebit's general direction*
We do? Do you mean holiday masks or the buffed clothing drops from the hallways?

Dirty Seraph without the eye effect?  I guess that makes him Seraph Scurge.  I'm crossing my fingers for a Pace mask.

We don't have the same face-covering helmets like the commandos have. Unlimits don't look like players at all if you ask me. I mean, you can recognise them as an Unlimit. That must mean something =) It's all in the pants and shoes though... Like, the only difference with the Trainman is that we don't have the exact same coloured clothes...right? What about the Effectuator or the Architect? They both look like players as well. There are no costumes of either of them but they're all recognisable characters that people are familiar with. =)
The old look of the General is not in game anymore so I don't have much of a problem with that. It's more the fact that we can now play with characters that are part of today's story.
I also meant a wireframe model, not the actual Hallborn or Carlyne - all it requires is a different haircut, I guess. Same with the female model for Wright.
The rest of the Pandora Box should be available as a costume too. It only makes sense.

Monkeyman: This is about the drops in the hallways. There are no holiday masks of Elite Commando's.

Unlimit costumes would've been cool though.

All you need for an Unlimit costume is code eyes and one of those crappy orange or green 1980's "Body Fuzion" leotards that everyone instantly recycles the second it comes into their inventory.

Yeah, the female version of the collector item from the Historic District looks eeriely like the female Unlimit gear..

Those suits are in game in different colours. Don't know if the orange/black one is available to players. The one in Historic has different shades of green if I remember correctly.

I'm pretty sure it's the same freaky beige color: I used to have one for the buffs, but I hated the sight of it, but that was a while back. Hm... :: Goes rooting in old screenshots::

Hm, could be... I might be confusing it with another suit then. I thought it was green. =O

You know he's doing this so that Effy won't have such a hard time changing people into stuff this year, right? =P

Didn't Rarebit say something about probably not using a wireframe model of a body type 3 (Halborn) due to the issue body type 3 naked males have when sitting or something?

Also, I know I've already said my piece about having main characters as masks so I won't repeat it, but if it's the only way I can get that hairstyle, I'd definately have to get an Ookami mask if it becomes available.

Cool.

If there's an Ookami mask, then awesome. Mmm. Veil and Ookami.

Throw Pace in the mix and you're sorted.

Rare.. do you just select a portion of the character's face and shrink, shrink, shrink it to the right size or do you have to do other bits and pieces too like adjusting the colour palatte or something?

(Note I have almost zero knowledge of graphic design or photoshopping beyond cutting/pasting, blur and clone stamp!)

Just a smidge of sharpening and contrast (levels adjustment) after shrinking it.
