Ok, so im running this mission at the moment, i am told to go to an adress to talk to somebody, however he wont talk until you kill his two body guards, when you do this he tells you it was a Merv phage you need to see, it the tells you to go to the Merv building, with about 20 Mervs in it who do not attack you, and it tells you to search the 2 computers, you look around and the get at the bottom "looks like she isnt here, look around and see if you can find out what she used the log ins for"
so you go to the pcs, one of them does not allow you to click it, theres not even a green ring around it despite there being the logo on mission map, you cant do anything with it, the next one only allows you to hack it, giving you xp, but not doing anything for the mission, meanwhile theres 20 mervs walking round asking you to go away, and walking round all the rooms gives you no updates, ive aborted twice and its still doing it every time
any advice?
cheers
Sounds like there's a specific NPC in the area that you need to talk to in order to make the inactive PC usable. As for which one it is, I have no idea. Missions like this are easily some of the most annoying ones in the game.. finding one specific NPC to talk to in an area full of them with all of them walking around and generally not unique in any way.. argh..
Unfortunatly i can't remember exactly the details of this particular mission, but it seems to me, you might have to talk to all the merv's and see if they give you any clues what to do. I know there is some missions where you have to get something from one person and give it to someone else, then you get an access card or a key or a password from them that lets you hack the computer. So it may be something like this you have to do.
So my only advise is to talk to everyone and right click em all to see if you can either get something from them or give something to them etc.
Hope you get your mission completed soon
lols, this is gonna be a pain, theres like 20 mervs, walking in and out of the rooms in westview buildings, and up the stairs, you cant keep track of them
Hoo boy, I remember this one when I was getting Sieges's Non-Infectious Flame Virus. Took me the better part of an hour to find the right goon. At least the dialogue was funny, so it was well worth having to click the same goons over and over again.
You might have to talk to each NPC twice to get a Follow Me option. Right click the NPCs to see if you get the FOLLOW ME option.
Check your Private Messages for a Spoiler. Hopfully it'll help.
cheers guys, its done now, i just killed all the mervs rather than talking to them and the pc started working
