First of all I think it should be kept in mind that when the final event happens there will be a lag fest because of so many returning players. Someone mentioned this issue in a post I read a few days ago and it should be considered in the final planning of our last event so it goes well. As for a starting suggestion for our event: I would like to see what happened years ago with the spawns showing up in mara C and the sky change and so on....leading up to a final showdown of unlimits/corruptors/sleepwalkers..etc for the last few days of the Matrix and it might sound good for a end of the story chapter, just thought I throw that out there for you all. I would really welcome some feedback on this topic so the Dev's will at least consider it ( or look at the topic), my fear is: topic gets to complex and the dev's deside not to tackle the project and just do a easy event. I guess what i'm looking for here is a overall "agreed" idea(at some point within a week) solution for a specific ending, so the majority of players will like the ending. Thankx all

Based on the language in what we have been told, I'm expecting changes to the sky and random spawns based upon the event being represented. Maybe NPCs controlled by Walrus et al based on that event as well (Security officers for the Blue Sky portion, Assasin clones for the Assasin portion, etc.). I don't think there's going to be any storyline attached to the event, and honestly I kind of hope that is the case. I wouldn't want to see an attempted 2 week (or less) wrap of up 4+ years of complex storyline just so things can end tied up with a nice pretty bow. I'm not even sure I want an End Of Beta style cataclysm to end things off.. though I can't say I'd hate it either, especially seeing as how I wasn't in Beta and I missed it the first time.

They skin an agent onto a fly monster body, making it look stupid, but big. Then, when we defeat it, the Wachowskis come down and force everyone's computers on low-quality, and tell us how MxO's story sucked and it isn't canon. Then they laugh and say jokes on you and go home. Then a big black screen with "MXO" on white letters. Disconnect. (Brought to you by sarcasm, because I know this is the MxO community)

I would like to see a PvP event and a PVE Event I'd like to see a repeat of the Goverment rooftop battle days before Rarebit left, with different representatives, The Merovingian,Agent Smith,Morpheus Sim, And a Repeat of the Assassin event with eyes in the sky CR 2.0 Style, for the ones among the community that never got to experience it. I think both should take place on the final two nights and everyone who turns up should be set to level 50 with all abilities if possible. that's what i'd like to see anyway as these are the most memorable pvp and pve events for me. for the PvP one this could count towards who actually won the war ;0

Gotta agree with that. I'm not even a PvPer in the minor sense, but I really enjoyed the rooftop battle.

I don't think any of our input is going to be considered for the final event.

I'll take anything...I may have been reading into the post but it seemed like they were inferring some sort of multiple week build up...no clue what they may have really meant but honestly I'm not getting my hopes up about them doing anything.
If I can just sit on the dock at Ike with my friends while mxo closes down I'll be happy.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if this is the last we've heard from Walrus, and there ends up being no event at all. "Oh, sorry folks! I was busy with the Agency!" ...kinda like his Producer's Letter.

That's what I was thinking.

If this endgame event has any story to it, it would be cool to have the Oligarchs involved. Any weird or overly-powerful spawns could be blamed on them. Illyria

Major final epic world-ending event = Global Broadcast of the lyrics to "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley. ...You know, just to solidify SOE's opinion of us.

This ^^
Harpalos and I tried to get Rarebit to do this way back during a Mauser event to no avail. Something about copyrights, blah, blah. However the epic lulz would have been priceless. XD
