I am on the Syntax Server

I didn't experience any lag while farming in Park East or working on a Pandora's Box in the Historic District.  9mmfu showed up during the box, I told him this then, but I should probably post this as well.

Interesting theory Rarebit, is it posible to move the origin so that it is accessible?

So now my faction's hangout hardline of Chelsea NW has both lag and mobs of level 255 agents... conspiracy, I say. -_-;

Anyway the lag was noticable last night in the machine EPN event...

   I would like to point out that there seems to be a slight but distinct improvement in performance in the game.  I didn't see this thread until today, but it was clear to me yesterday that you guys had changed the region servers due to this, and the altered /who ranges I was getting since the server restarted.

   Interactions (opening a door, for example) seem to have sped up slightly.  The same can be said for hardline travel and other teleportation methods.  And the code vision seems to clear up faster for me.  I'll admit that these apparent speed increases may just be in my head.  But this is coming from someone who has been playing MxO since October of '04 and never left once.

Okay, on Recursion...Downtown lag has never been worse. I keep getting transported to other places, getting stuck under the world, abilitys have huge delays -- I feel like it's the areas of the Blue Sky Event all over again.

And it's my entire faction seeing it, too. And I know it's not my computer.

Yeah, Downtown is pretty boned right now.

Except on Syntax, where Dracomet stuffed all the lag into Pillsen.

   So he made Pillsen into a kind of lag pizza roll?

   Maybe because its name sounds like "Pillsbury"?

   Pillsen lag pizza rolls.  And their dough boy doesn't giggle until ten minutes after its poked in the belly.

It's also tiny and hilly and mostly a freeway, except for some tall buildings around the side. It's kind of like Downtown's speed bump (especially now :p).

Speed Bump? How about a "DO NOT ENTER OR WE'LL CRASH YOUR COMPUTER" sign with big flashing lights? XD

   Is it possible for Dracomet to stuff the lag into some place under the city?  Like an ancient evil sealed away until it breaks loose and our decendants have to battle it?

I was in downtown tonight, mainly in Chelsea, and I really didn't experience any lag.  I fought some NPCs and did a neighborhood contact mission, everything seems to be ok in Chelsea.
