Quite simply, turn on disguise. Let it run out. The animation for it being in use continues (scrolling line up and down the icon on the hotbar).

  Turn on hyper defense. Unload the ability. Reload it. The animation of being in use (scrolling line up and down the icon on the hotbar) restarts. 

 Not only that, but you have to turn the abilities OFF AGAIN before you can turn them on.

 Minor bug.

 It is just a small animation issue.  The only gameplay effect is having to turn it 'off' again before you can turn it on. (Despite the ability not being on, the hotbar icon says it is, so it takes two hits to reinitialise.)
