Using sneak in conjunction with other trees.

i think the question some of us are wondering, NT, is.. says who?

sneak and escape/evade are more or less the same thing, at the end of the day. yet theyre in 2 very different trees. i dont think 'hiding from ppl' is something which is specific just to one certain tree.. so just why 'should' sneak dump you into spy style if you use it? why must sneak be tied to a style? its already tied to 9 mem points O.O

lets work on nerfing kfgm and fixing mkt timers instead, shall we..

Personally I think its fine to utilize Sneak with other trees. If someone is willing to put forth the memory slots then they should be able to use the skill. Just like Guard Breaker and Iron Guard, I can use them without loading up Kungfu or Aikido.

However, by NOT loading Spy Style, they are crippling themselves to an extent by not being privvy to the stealth buffs that SS gives its user. It's much easier to pop them out of sneak and see them as a result. The same applies to any move that "prefers" a certain style.

By setting a style preference the ability can be enhanced or it can just be plain, but the choice is clearly up to the user.

You knwo I don't care if it goes this or that way but I am still one that does not like mixing sneak with other trees except Spy, because it just doesn't make any scens.

Same thing with MA's loading some of the Patcher tree to buff themselves. They lose out on several special abilities, everyone knows they are buffing/healing, and they are susceptible to Cancel Upgrades. Sneak Hacker doesn't imbalance the game. You need to be prepared for a sudden Logic Cannon just as you need to be readied for a Punt.

Ok folks, i've been hacker since release, which is a bloody long time.. and i used sneak hacker in Cr 1 more than any other load, cus you could kill basicly anyone But in Cr 2.0 when i tried using it the accuracy sucked *CENSORED* (well it was ok but not agaist any decent red) the damage of a logic cannon 2.0 is completely crap and you only have your blasts and barriages ontop of *CENSORED* couple of second stuns to finish them, because you can't hit overclock,upgrade attacks and powerfist then go into sneak cus by that time you wont b able to cast it intime or you'll be seen. The hate is stupid, i call it more skillful if your gonna use sneak, makes it assassin like but thats only if you use it right and load it with the right things. Stop moaning, cause if you can't kill em then your doing something wrong dont just assume its people who is using sneak. i mean 3 sneak hackers at a hardline doing 3 logic cannons in a row could easierly kill you straight away, but if they all hit i'd be suprised.

Ive never seen sneak hackers although ive seen a lot of sneak karate around latley

That's what I like about MXO. That we can mix all the abilities (to a certain degree). MA's healing and Hackers in Sneak, it's all good. Hybrid loadouts and switching them on the fly are an essential part of MXO's gameplay. And we're getting closer on having it all balanced out.
For me it's a good thing that our loadouts don't have to make sense.
